How much fun was the mage tower?

There’s nothing snide about proving you wrong.

Especially when you’re NOW saying there are different SIZED knockbacks, when before it was all about TIMING.

So now you’re left with changing the argument? lol Like I said, we all knew you’d post again with nothing that actually refuted what I said. You just changed your argument. Done with this nonsense.

You haven’t proved me wrong. And also, you have snide.

I never said it was the one thing. I made multiple mentions in previous posts that it wasn’t just timing. It was also pathfinding that related to timing and also knockback.

You’re done because you failed to figure out how to prove a point or display evidence. Instead, you believe “You’re wrong” is an argument, and throw out anything that I provide to explain your issue. It’s quite sad that rather than try to prove your point, you just get mad and shut down.

I did prove my point. You did move the goalposts.

Scroll up. Not reiterating things that have already been said.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Fun, not after the first try, no. Scenario not often matched to the role being sent into it, and it was particularly unfair if you did not have very specific legendaries. It was apparently a cakewalk if you had certain ones, so people who had terrible droprate on the random-out-of-worldchest legendaries faced a much tougher fight.

I cleared one. Felt like I had to play completely wrong to beat it, but I did, and it was quite satisfying to finally take that cheaty little totem #@$^&%# down. I was working on four others when it became inaccessible, the periods I had to play didnt overlap much with when it was up.

I would do it now in a throwback mode just for most of the skins. It’d be nice to have the place a bit less dead, we need more reasons to return to xpacs after they stop being endgame.

I enjoyed it quite a bit - but was only able to get some appearances thanks to having too many alts. lolol

:sparkles:

depends on the spec you’re talking about.

Afflictions wasn’t fun in the least, being arbitrarily annoying as hell unless you happened to have a specific legendary that made it completely free

Imagine 2-4 years from now when we get “This Expansion SUCKS! Return to BFA class balance!” threads.

Shrugs. I never did figure out what those things did. Deposit some hard to get points. Nothing. Deposit some more. Nothing. Deposit lots of them. Nothing.

Never bothered with them after the first few times since I could use those points for other stuff. Then after a break the island campaign was in full swing.

I liked it, even though I never managed to complete one.

It really put all my abilities and knowledge to the test, so it was a great challenge. I even managed to consistently get bosses down to 1-2% health before my injuries flared up.

I’d like to try again some day, even if there are no cosmetic rewards for doing so.

:four_leaf_clover:

No, people loved the tower. People hated legendary acquisition and artifact power being spec specific. The only people that complained about the tower keyboard turned and couldn’t complete it.

I’m sorry, but do you know ANYONE saying they miss WOD? Bad xpac = bad xpac.

You seen these forums lately, mate?

Yes, literally nobody is asking for WOD or saying they miss WOD…

Sorry, what was that? I couldn’t hear you…

Easily one of the best pieces of content Blizzard has ever created. Hopefully they have similar content in the future planned.

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Did you bother to look at the hearts? Next to no one agrees with those posters. Just because they exist, doesn’t mean they’re relevant.

Why not???

You were proven wrong with literally zero effort, so now you want to try to move goalposts. Get gone.

It provided a challenge difficult enough to be considered fun.
If you screwed up, you only had yourself to blame. When you got that boss dead, you the reward was worth it.
