8.3 has been the worse patch in all of BfA, and it has made the entire expansion feel worse than what it was already was.
Please, lets just revert back to WoD. I rather take no content over broken/unrewarding content any day of the week.

This single latest patch in BfA has more end game content than all the patches of WoD combined.
Or did you prefer the selfie camera patch?
Atleast the S.E.L.F.I.E Camera was Alt Friendly, and wasnât broken.
Selfie camera worked, we got passive abilities to replace the pruning done to us to try and mitigate things to try and make things less awful.
We currently have RNG passive abilities where, it was entirely possible to get shafted while doing better content, but forced to upgrade because it was an item level increase.
This expac is essentially giving you cake laced with cyanide. Sure, itâs delicious and filling, but the core of it is death. So, itâs a bunch of âstuffâ but thereâs really nothing here besides RNG and Treadmills for the chance of getting worse stuff than you actually have.
All your WoD achievements are dated after Legion released. Did you even play during WoD or just fishing for worthless forum likes?
Some people seem to forget that Quality is better than Quantity.
I didnât know you could obtain the Legendary RIng or Ahead of the Curve: The Black Gate in Legion.
See, here is the thing:
We didnât have annoying artifact grinds or Azerite BS with most of the traits being usless as well.
We may of had RNG with WF and Gem Sockets on top of the usual RNG, but that was it. There wasnât increased RNG ontop of that.
Professions wasnât exactly the best in WoD, but they didnât feel as bad as what they are now.
We had PVP Vendors. And guess what, PVP was really fun. Especially if all you did was casual PVP.
The raids were really fun too.
We had better class design than what there is now.
Iâunno man. I had a lot more fun in WoD than I have had in BFA.
The only thing this thread âconfirmsâ is we disagree. WoD was for me the worst expansion so far. While BFA hasnât been Wrath, I am at least still actively playing it while I quit WoD about half way thru the expansion. So that already makes it vastly better for me.
Iâm not going to say that BFA is worse than WoD or better for that matter. I will say itâs a bigger disappointment though for me personally.
Blizzard abandoned WoD 7 months in. It had the least amount of content at launch and in subsequent patches. Its first patch had no game content while the second one added a zone and the final raid dungeon. They did nothing to salvage it.
BfAâs most recent patch came about 1 year and 5 months in the expac cycle. The expac has been adding more content in each major patch (9.x) than both WoD patches combined.
Yep, my bad. You played the last 2 weeks of WoD.
If you had actually played through the entirety of WoD, you wouldnât be making dumb threads like this.
Lol. The SELFIE cam was also buggy upon release.
Nope. Unless an expac solely consists of 1 patch, no expac will be worse than WoD.
Confirmed by⌠what? By Blizzard? I donât think so.
The bugs and issues of this patch arenât to be ignored of course⌠but for me, itâs still better than WoD. Iâve been on and done more in the 2.5 months Iâve been playing BfA (I took a break from not long after Argus released to Nov 2019) than I did in WoD.
Most of my time in WoD, after leveling my horde of alts, was spent doing garrisons (tables/herb garden/mine) and selling stuff at the AH. I had no reason to actually DO anything out in the world. All but one of my characters stayed in their garrisons once they got their buildings to the right level. And the one that left? Just went to put stuff on the AH and back.
Now, I did enjoy all that gold from all those gold missions⌠but it was boring. I had no reason to spend more than 5 minutes on any given character, and no reason to go out in the world.
BfA is better than that, at least.
My AOTC for Archimonde was in February. Legion wasnât released until August. That was well and truely longer than 2 weeks.
Or the WoW 10th/11th Aniversary.
Oh right, because you disagree with my opinion that I found WoD to be better than BfA, it automatically means it is a dumb thread.
Literally 90% of your WoD achievements are dated after legion released though. You didnât truly play WoD through its entirety when it was current. You might have popped in and out at various times, but you didnât actually play it in its entirety.
I know you didnât because youâre comparing BfA (a very content heavy xpac, grindy as it may be), to WoD, a literal lack of anything except raiding xpac.
WoD was awful the first patch was just a selfie camera (pointless feature) and the second was a zone cut from launch that came out a year late. Legion was good simply because they cut their losses on WoD early. Though itâs clear with this last patch they said eff it and probably switched most of the team to shadowlands. Definitely top two worst expansions. At least thereâs content to do in this BFA unlike WoD. But not great content.
But I do think the patches are switched around. 7.2=8.3 and 7.3=8.2. Broken shore was terrible. A zone that was pretty much just there for dailies and a bad weekly questline where the questline was talk to one person and theyâll tell you to come back next week.
Holy cow. a WoD gatekeeper, they DO exist.
What proof do you have that I didnât play WoD during when it was current?
Newsflash, achievements can be re-earned on another toon or did you forget about that?
Nope. WoD was like 2 major patches. That will always be the worst in my eyes.
