Guild Mission Statement
Tribal is a new Raiding guild founded with the goal of creating a stable community where like-minded players can achieve quick and efficient AOTC Heroic clears each and every tier and participate in seasonal Mythic+ content. The Gaming community as a whole can feel a little cynical these days, often for good reason. We’re looking to change that dynamic by bringing together a group of players who still love playing World of Warcraft despite its many flaws. We love playing good videogames with good people, and we want to build a resilient community where our friendships transcend the world of Azeroth. When WoW inevitably gets a little stale late in the tier we want our community to enjoy playing other great games together to keep things fresh and fun.
Adult Gamers all have plenty of real life commitments that take priority over our virtual hobbies, and most of us aren’t able to put in the same insane hours of play-time that we could a decade ago. When we sit down to game after a long day we’re looking to unwind from the noise of the real world around us. We don’t have time for internet drama, we want our time to be respected, and we still want to smash content with like-minded skilled players just like the good ol’ days. Tribal seeks to provide a stable place where you can achieve your in-game goals without feeling like you’re clocking into a second job.
Tribal welcomes players from all corners of the world. However we are at our core, a US-West based guild with raid times that cater to working adults in the US Pacific Time-Zone. Most of our events are scheduled for a 8:00PM (PDT) start-time in order to allow players on the west coast a comfortable window to get through our commute, get through the door and eat some dinner before logging on to raid.
Why Join?
Tribal is a new Guild with no proven track record of success. We don’t have a long list of achievements, or a decade under our belt playing together. Why should you take a chance with an unknown entity? Well, we also don’t have a proven track record of toxicity, favoritism, internal cliques, and failure. With Tribal you have the opportunity to build upon a clean slate, forge lasting bonds at the beginning of our story, and to be an integral piece of the foundation that will ultimately lead to our shared success. This is actually a good time to start/join a new project. We’re approaching a slow point for raiding in World of Warcraft with Season 3 coming to a close and some form of Fated Raid(s) expected to fill the gap in Season 4. As things stand it looks like we won’t see any new raid content until The War Within drops this summer. Season 4 provides the perfect opportunity to spend time building a resilient raid-team & community without rushing into a new tier underprepared due to fear of missing content.
Guild Rules
- Age Requirement: Tribal is a community for players ages 21+. Some language and other content is not suitable for children.
- No Discriminatory Language: We have foul mouths, but maintain a zero tolerance policy regarding discriminatory language or derogatory terms referring to a person’s race, religion, orientation or other protected traits. That type of bigoted bulls**t will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with swiftly.
- Politics And Religion: Keep these sensitive subjects out of guild chat. There is a time and place for these conversations and that’s in a private chat, not an open public format.
- Be an Adult: Have a thick skin, but don’t be a d*ck. We expect everyone to be mature enough to both take and dish out constructive criticism and well intentioned jokes without getting offended or becoming a bully. Be an adult. build those around you up, don’t break them down.
Raid Structure & Goals
Tribal’s goal as a raid group is to cultivate a team of like minded core raiders who work together to achieve a quick and efficient AOTC Heroic clear every tier, and to build a resilient PvE community that will provide players with a stable platform to experience AOTC content together for years to come. After our first progression clear is achieved with our core raid team, raids will open up to all guild members who meet minimum ilvl requirements for the duration of the tier.

- Tuesday: 8:00PM-11:00PM (PST)
- Thursday: 8:00PM-11:00PM (PST)
Traits we value in our raiders:
- Accountability - Be accountable to yourself, and be accountable to the rest of the team. Recognize your mistakes, celebrate your achievements, and strive for improvement.
- Reliability - Be trusted to follow through on your commitments. If you sign up to attend an event, be there. If something comes up take a moment to change your RSVP Status and notify your team-mates. We understand that life happens and the real world comes first, but communication is key.
- Preparation and Self Sufficiency - We want self-sufficient members who value each player’s responsibility to show up to raid as the best possible version of themselves. We expect each and every team member to take the necessary initiative to better themselves in-game and out. This means research, gearing, consumables, class/rotation knowledge ect. Teams are all about helping each other out and we are happy to help you gear, answer questions, or help you improve your play. No one wants to spend their valuable time helping someone who isn’t willing to help themselves.
- Class Mastery and Performance - We want to ensure that our Core Raiders have achieved a reasonable level of mastery of their class/spec. Our Core Raiders should be striving to regularly parse in the top 25% of their ilvl/spec. (High Blue to Purple+ Parse %’s). If you aren’t able to hit this mark on a regular basis you should be seeking to identify the shortcomings in your play-style/rotation or gear kit and the improvements required to achieve the desired results.
Recruitment Process
All players Ages 21+ are welcome to join the Tribe. We welcome all types of players of all levels of experience. If you are interested in joining Tribal, you can go about that in a few different ways:
- Join our Discord and follow our automated onboarding process. Your should be granted the “Tribal Onboarding” Rank automatically through self-assigned roles. You are then ready for an invite in-game. Let us know in Discord that you need an in-game invite and someone will get a hold of you to make that happen. Always feel free to reach out to an ASAP!
- You may also join Tribal by taking the reverse path. Seek out an Officer in-game and ask for a Guild Invite. Then join Discord and follow our Automated onboarding process.
- Look up Tribal on Mal`Ganis using World of Warcraft’s in-game guild finder/recruitment tool and request an invite there! Once an Officer logs on and accepts your request, you will receive a guild invite on your Guild Tab in-game the next time you log in. This method works great if two people are having trouble linking up in-game at the same time.
Once an Officer can verify that you are both a member in-game and in Discord your “Tribal Onboarding” rank will be changed to “Tribal Member” which grants private channel access in Discord.
Future Plans
Our goal is to build a resilient heroic raiding community in World of Warcraft that will provide players with a stable platform to experience heroic content together for years to come. However, we love playing other games too. We regularly play other multiplayer games together including but not limited to titles like Helldivers II and Diablo 4 and some of our players dabble in other MMO’s on the side. SIn the future I would love to get a small group together for some Savage FFXIV content during late-season downtime in World of Warcraft. Looking years into the future I’m optimistic that there will be a new AAA MMO (Riot MMO maybe?) that introduces genuine competition into the market again. If something like the Riot MMO looks juicy enough, Tribal will come to the world of Runeterra in a big way.**
