Earth Shock has a (10+Mastery %) chance to immediately cast Lava Burst at your target. (Ex: If you have 32% mastery, it would be 42% chance to proc).
When suggesting talents I think it is best to follow the design prescedent established so far. There is not a single talent in the game which interacts with secondary attributes the way you are proposing.
Crit seems to be the only exception to this rule sinse there are a lot of effects that proc off crit. Also, I don’t understand why earth shock would trigger lava burst. Wouldn’t it make more sense for flame shock to do it?
Also, What is with the name?
So adjustment suggestion: Flame shock critical hits immediately cast Lava Burst to your target.

Seems like an interesting one. It causes adjustments to the rotation since it encourages earth shock casts with high maelstrom.

The direct damage from flame shock is very low. Even when stacked 10 times, it does not result in a significant damage increase.

Again with the 10 + mastery %. Just make them lightning bolt critical hits.

Seems interesting, very focused on long fights.

What is the deal with this insertion of character level into the calculation?

Charge 2: Unleashe the spell, dealing 110% Spell Power nature damage to the target. (0.8-1.8 second charge time)
Charge 3: Unleashe the spell, dealing 130% Spell Power nature damage to the target and instantly casting Chain Lightning at up to 2 nearby enemies. (2.5+ second charge time)
This seems like a cool ascendance improvement.
