- It is not yet clear whether this is a bug or if the mount unavailability is intended, so people don’t know whether to keep trying for the achievement or to just drop it

This is the evidence that matters as they clearly state the achievement rewards it and it’s meant to be obtainable during this event.
And yet the 15yr anniversary page has the exact same wording… which looks like they just copy/pasted this from previous anniversary page. Verbatim.
I had the same experience this morning. Completed it across several characters, no mount.
I was going to try grinding out more timewalking tokens on the character I did the bulk of the achievement on, but based on this thread that seems pointless. Thanks to the community members who’ve provided more feedback than the devs on the issue.
I was contemplating getting that year sub, but based on the number of bugs lately, I doubt I’ll be doing that. I miss the days when Blizzard didn’t roll anything out that wasn’t working.
Yeah the thing that gets me is that there is no way to track the achievement on 1 character. I did it on multiple characters and now I have no clue what my single badge count is. This is honestly starting to get ridiculous. I literally just paid a subscription to get this mount during this event as I had not been able to get it years prior. IF this is how blizzard is treating their customers before DF even drops I don’t even want to imagine the dumpster fire that is to come.
It wouldn’t have mattered. I got the achievement using one character only and did not receive the mounts. Go figure right? lol

Ah, I had forgotten that they actually explicitly stated that the mounts are available from this anniversary. Sounds like a bug then.
Yeah, my guess is they copy/pasted it as well. Which would make sense if they didn’t intend for anything to change; which lends credence to the idea that the mount’s unavailability is a bug and unintentional.
This was updated again after you linked it. I’m guessing that since it still says obtainable, my best advice is to manually track how many badges you got (20 for win, 10 for loss). I’d also be cautious about quests since there is clearly some issues with this and we don’t know to what extent it’s bugged. I’m going to manually track and obtain 200 from just wins and losses and will report back
i did it all on one character Kickassium last night got the achivement and didnt receive my mount upon obtaining, did some of quests and most of my badges came from wins and losses
All on one toon - I earned 200 badges from Koraks revenge with a combination of dailies, winning/Losing AV and quests, and got achievement. Just like blue post said. I did not get mount. I did exactly what the blue post said to do.
ALSO: There is NO progress bar for mount - it just shows Anima.
Have we had any official confirmation from Blizzard regarding this? Is the mount no longer obtainable? I don’t want to go through the trouble of farming this again on one single character only to be told “Nah the mount is over”. I have better things to do with my time that being wasted for MAU. How will they track it on 1 character if there is no bar to complete.

“We have received reports that the mount is not being correctly awarded. We have received multiple reports of this issue and can confirm it is not working as designed. Currently, we do not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided. We apologize for any inconvenience while our developers work as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.”
So at least they know about it.
Yeah but unfortunately this leaves us nowhere. Do I keep farming the tokens on 1 character and hope i get it eventually? Will the progress I am doing now count at all? How will they know? The event is only a few weeks. W T F

Blizzard has decided to sneak in a new bonus objective into AV for this reward.
Same stupid problem. Completed achievement and got no mounts.
For those of you that are talking about completing the ‘Alterac Valley of Olde’ Achievement and not getting the mount. This achievement does NOT award the mount, despite what Blizzard posted on the 18th celebration page.
The mount and its progress comes from a DIFFERENT bonus objective that has the same requirements of 200 Timewarped Badges from doing the ‘Karrak Revenge’ bonus objective.
You can complete the ‘Alterac Valley of Olde’ achievement that is account-wide, but has no reward for completion. The ‘Karrak’s Revenge’ Bonus Objective that does give the mount, is not account-wide for progress, it is per character.
Hope this clears things up for you.
the achievement did award the mount or at least it said it would, until today. Bonus objective wasn’t a thing until today.
Those that completed the achievement/got any progress BEFORE the change today, deserve the mounts without having to waste time doing it all over again.
The ‘bonus objective’ is a last minute hacky hotfix they just placed in which does not take into account previous progress made through unrepeatable quests which gave significant TW badge rewards.
