What if we got Random Dungeon Finder for old content only? So for Wrath the cut-off would be lv70 TBC Heroics. I feel like a lot of what is salting the wound for people is that they want to level via dungeons. Finding groups for dungeons and running to them, as a low level, feels punishing. its old content. let us have RDF.
Give mega servers RDF except Grobbulus cuz they are cool and make Fresh servers no RDF for us Chad hardcores who are apparently gonna play for <90 days
You took away RDF to “encourage social interactions” with the belief that on going repeated interactions with the same people is an important piece of community building. I agree that repeated social interactions are very important for building the community.
For tanks and healers the RDF system vs the current lfg system in beta is a wash. Both systems give these classes instant groups with zero effort. In fact, the LFG system will allow tanks to selectively choose the DPS they want. Which mean…
As the representative of the WOTLK player’s union guild, we have come up with the official RDF\LFG compromise that we believe is acceptable to both the union and Blizzard Developers
RDF is to be implemented into the game with the following restrictions;
Realm only
Non heroic level 1-79 dungeons
The LFG system will remain and be required for all 80 heroics, Nax 10 and 25 man.
