Getting same issue. I get a brief pop-up that there is a problem, and after a second or two of whatever it is doing it fully connects. 100% of the time, when I get this error, past few days, when I get into co-op game, the list of unlocked is broken across 2 screens when you bring them up. Meaning, I will have the usual unlocked emoticons up top, then there will be a section of greyed out unlocked ones, and then on the second page, a couple of rows of unlocked emoticons. Instead of the normal listing all unlocked emoticons on the first page.

I’ve been having this issue for a few days now, and I don’t really want to screw with game files, every other Battle.net game works fine. So really, has there been any solution to this post? I don’t feel like forum combing either.
Same issue here as well. Just installed SC2 and got this error. Reinstalled, and also did the aforementioned attempts to fix it via scanning the game files, switching to beta, etc.

Where do we go to see any response from the developers about this? Just downloaded the game and would like to play.
Same issue. Received 2FA notification on first attempt, approved, then error. Haven’t played in about a year+.

Woke up this morning and was still not able to get into the game. Still receiving the same message. Will update here again after a few more hours/attempts.
So anyone got a helpfull thing in store? Not a 4 year old post and arrogant attitude problems maybe?
Sadly, there really is nothing else but that 4 year old post. I spent the entire day looking for help, and shared what I found.
You can change you region if you really just wanna play. That’s pretty much the only work around atm.
Nvm, tried to give blizz another chance since years after recent crap and years of decline and thats already how it starts. just gonna uninstall everything and be done with it. wish everyone of you good luck though and hey, maybe they will care and fix this. wink wink

Hey, first time posting. Just started experiencing this issue a couple of hours ago.
Funnily enough I was playing fine just minutes prior. I had submitted a ticket for a couple of minor issues I’m currently having after playing. I then updated the email on my battle.net account to a new email address I use more often, and then I started experiencing the ‘temporary outage of Battle.net services’ in-game message. I felt it was too coincidental to not relate to the email change, but maybe it is just coincidence. I’m not technically minded and barely know what I’m doing with computers haha. Anyway, I’ve tried connecting to EU and KR regions with no luck, and still not connecting after waiting several minutes. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Same issues as everyone else. Own the game and haven’t played in several years. Installed last night wanting to play the campaign again but can’t get pass the authentication portion as there is a “temporary outage of Battle.net services”
same here, downloaded for the first time after not playing for a couple years. seems there might be a common thread for new-ish downloaders? US / EU / KR all don’t work for me
Already tried Europe, Asia, and US, none of them work.
Also have the same issue here for the whole day, playing from UE region/EU server.
The account where i’m having the problem is my old one, which I just got back with the help of customer support.
Thing is, the secondary account I created waiting for their answer does works perfectly.
Same region/server for both.

Same issue. Downloaded last night after not playing for years and getting same error message ever since. WoW & Diablo work fine.
None region works for me
