Why does Mercy have help voice lines and Zenyatta doesn't?

Wouldn’t it make sense, since Zenyatta has no way of escaping a 1v1 and Mercy does?

Mercy has a 1 second health regen
Guardian Angel

Zenyatta has a 3 second health regen
No movement abilities

Kinda weird

I would guess that if he will get them it was postponed to make way for other things, such as balancing and event planning.

Zenyatta has a much better shot at fighting back. discord targets typically die to 3 orbs if you land all of your shots

Zenyatta and Mercy have been In the game since the beginning.
He deserves some help just like Mercy does.

The real question is: Why she asks for help when she takes 1 bullet from a D.va at the other side of the map but she stays silent when she takes 199 damage instantly?

4 shots with discord.
2 shots to the head with discord.
Zenyatta has a hard time fighting characters like Tracer, Genji, and Sombra

And so does Mercy so i don’t see why Zenyatta can’t get voice lines.

Zenyatta has the tools to fight back. Mercy needs a teammate to fly to.

Mercy doesn’t have a huge hitbox.
Zenyatta does.

Give Zen a 1 second health regen and see how many people try to 1v1 him.

Mercy has that because her pistol isn’t as impressive, but it is still good.

Mercy also doesn’t have her pistol out by default. She’s just pure healing. Zen can debuff and shoot, giving him more offensive power. His right click can be deadly as well.

Lol. Most Mercys focus completely on healing. Pistol is a last resort.

yeah it’s kind of strange that Mercy is the only support player who has these lines, and she has one of the best escape abilities

This has been requested a few times, and I think we will probably be adding automatic “help me” voice lines to the other support characters in the future.
