it wont let me connect to middle east servers Now I’m Stuck to EU servers on 390 ping i cant even finish any game

Our original messaging on this issue hasn’t changed. I do have one update: For custom games not seeing GMEC server selection, our team is planning on resolving this in a future update.

For Saudi Arabia players being routed to Europe and running into issues after troubleshooting with your ISP. I do recommend running a 10-minute Ping Plotter to one of the IPs below:

34.1.32.1
34.18.0.1

We will double-check these results, and if we see anything we can do to help within our networks or issues with our own peering partners, we will ensure that feedback gets forwarded properly to the right places.

This thread has different issues being reported, and for that reason, we are closing it to stay organized:

  • For suggestions on server locations, please post these on our General forums.
  • For Middle Eastern players outside of Saudi Arabia running into connection issues. We recommend troubleshooting the connection starting with the steps Here, then consulting with your Internet Service Provider. Feel free to create a new thread with a 10-minute Ping plotter to one of the IPs above if issues continue.

I am From eastern province Saudi Arabia. Now stuck at 100 latency in game. Please find the results below as requested.

I don’t really understand what I am looking at but the second one 34.18.0.1 looks better as latency is 29 on average.

Hope we can get back into overwatch 2 with a better experience :slight_smile:

They do have nice latency on 34.18. IP which is the current server location , am surprised why they have high latency ingame?!

But a 100% packet Loss (the Red Line) at the final destination 34.18.0.1 IP and also for 34.1.32.1 IP

According to my understanding, We cant reach Google Cloud Qatar IPs ( Where the OW new server is located in)

OK Blizzard we won the world cup, we have the best OW players in the world.

we host a lot of overwatch tournaments (in Saudi E-League)

after Saudi wins a lot of new players from Saudi Arabia will download the game.

We deserve a new server in Saudi Arabia :saudi_arabia: (Not Bahrain, Dubai or Qatar)

No if it’s in saudi then the issue isnt fixed because qatar players will suffer. I sugget to get it back in Bahrain so all win.

I agree , Bahrain is the best location for the server so everyone can have low latency in middle east region.
