Hit Sounds Are Not Playing for months!

Title says. How many reports do you need to fix this problem?

I tried everything. Reinstalled the game and drivers, deleted settings. Also i am not using limit send client rate etc.

Hit Detection Sounds not Working

Just like it says. About 1 in 4 times when hitting a target, it plays a Hit Detection noise. I still get the visual flare by the crosshair, but it’s difficult to recognize a hit without the sound. I want my dinks back.

Sound Issue in all modes

idk if others have been having this issue but in any type of match, even practice range, there’s been sound problems of like damaging the enemy. When I shoot it sometime makes the sound of me shooting someone, sometimes it doesn’t. Playing as Winston I sometimes hear the enemy being electrocuted sometimes I don’t, it’s on and off. Hit Sounds Not Working!

I am playing on pc and my all drivers are up to date. Sometimes hit sounds are disappearing. Also healt box sounds not working as well. It is very very very frustrating

Hitmarker Sound not working

I have been experiencing a problem these last 2 days on overwatch. I don’t think this has to do with a specific platform, but the hitmarker sound will not register when I shoot somebody. The game will register that I hit the person, but it won’t give me a hitmarker sound. Sometimes, I don’t even see the hitmarker or the enemy’s health bar even after I hit them. Missing sounds and incorrect directional hit notifications

This is definitely happening to a small group of people and there is no fix found as of yet. I tried posting this on the Tech Support page with no reply. Things I’ve noticed since Brigitte update is: -No health pack pickup sound (about 90%+ of the time) -No audio cue for control point team change -Random missing head shot and body shot audio indicators. EDIT: Somehow this got moved into Technical Support, I guess by a mod, but I don’t want it to go there. This needs to be kept in front of the Overwatch community so more people can raise flags about the issue. Sound effects missing bug/glitch

I have recently been having an issue where certain sound effects will not play in game. For example sombras translocate, tracer recall, hit marker sounds (most noticeably on ana). I have already tried updating drivers and a fresh install of the game and the problem persists. If anyone has any ideas to try or is also experiencing the problem comment here. For science, my system is an I5 4590 w/ gtx 1070 running windows 10

Can't hear 90% of hit marker sounds

Weird. I have this issue too. Sometimes voice lines don’t work. Sometimes I don’t hear the health pack pickup sound when I walk over it. Sometimes I don’t hear the “dink” headshot sound. Anyone know what the issue is? Only started happening about a week ago. All drivers up to date. Issue happens on both of my accounts. Too many sound channels? Not enough? Hmm…

Sound Effects Problems

Hello kind Readers, I have been experiencing a bug where I cannot hear the following Sound Effects (Torbjorn’s Armor Pick Up, Ultimate Status Call-Outs, Hit-Sounds). But, I am currently experiencing network issues like Packet Losses and Lag Spikes. So, I don’t know if my network issues is causing this bug or not. Certain Sound Effects not Playing

Recently, when I load into Overwatch and join a game, I encounter an issue where certain sound effects won’t play, or they play very quietly. Hit sound / Voice line bugs

I have for over 3 months now no hitsounds or more like only 1/3 of them. Also I cant hear when an Objectiv gets capptured nor can I hear wehn I collect a healthkit. Also I cant hear any voice lines including Ultsounds. This is extremly annoying. Missing Character Sounds

Since the Latest patch (1.25.0.1) I’ve been getting missing sounds. What does not play: -My character’s sfx -My character’s weapon’s sounds -My character’s weapon hit sounds. -My character’s voicelines. All other sounds play as normal. Issues with sound

After the latest update for social features, I’ve been having an odd problem where certain sound effects do not play when activated. The most prominent example of this would be the hit registry sound, whenever I hit anyone the sound effect for the hit will only play every now and then. The same applies for when I use a health pack, as well as when I use voice lines. Please help!

Sound Effects Disappearing

Certain essential sound effects, including but not limited to enemy footsteps, hitsounds, point capture sounds, and the sound of my weapon firing, tend to stop functioning upon respawn. They continue to be disabled until two to three more respawns. This does not appear to be an issue that many other players are experiencing. Is there a fix-aroonie to this bug-erino?

I tried turning the “limit server send rate” option in “gameplay” off
and it worked for me.
I had problems with sound of healthpacks, voice lines, hitsounds, Tracer “recall” etc. now everything works fine. I hope this will help you too
