I have been getting e_GFXerrorapierror for HOTS for over the past year, i’ve tried disabling overlays, reinstalling and installing the drivers, which only fixes it temporarily, I’ve looked up and down the forums for an answer, and NOTHING has fixed it. I’m growing beyond frustrated.

I haven’t been able to play this in a year, and I miss the game SO much, please S.O.S blizzard.

Running with a Intel Graphics 360 by the way.

you probably will want to start with posting your DXDIAG. that will help others help you.

Looks like you have the Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630. The 6XX series does have some issues with the game on an older driver that will result in crashes. Would recommend grabbing the updated drivers here.

If there’s still issues we’ll want to get the DxDiag report mentioned by Morogoth.

Hey, I tried updating it, but because my computer is made through Dell, it won’t let me update it till they have their version of said update, unforunately, unless I were to install version that faulted theirs, and then went through it that way.

from what i understand it will give you an error about installing it. maybe this will help you with getting the newer driver installed:

Can try using this driver instead. You might need to do a manual install.

Today there was an update in gforce drivers. After installation api issue did not persist. I have not done anything else, it was purely drivers.

Ok, the update for gforce drivers helped for only one game. Issue persisted, but after driver update according to your recommendation it was resolved. Thank you!
