We need to be loud about runestones

WoLK classic is dropping. To heck with Hearthstone.

Disgusting person. Muted.

Agreed on the runestones, yet another way to have us spend more money and remove even more of the effort-based benefits

I bought a tavern pass recently because I like to work towards certain items that I can buy with the coins I earn in the game. The number of items available to buy with coins were getting less as it is, but now they also removed the option to buy a battleground pass with coins as well by replacing it with runes.

I am so done with this …every time it shifts more and more to money to spend. Not spending a single additional dime on this game until they figure this out.

I’ve been playing since the beta launch.

Changes have upset me before, but this? It’s another level of outrageous.

I refuse to play Hearthstone until Runestones are gone. There already are in-game currencies, gold and dust.

It was fun Blizzard, but I think it’s time for us to “Pile On” to something else and leave the runestones to whatever chumps are willing to pay for them.

there is no gold or dust in the battlefields. This is a completely different game where the only currency is runestones, there is nothing to replace them with.

Agreed. I think I’m done with Hearthstone, and since it’s the only Blizzard game I still play/played I can just uninstall the whole launcher. So that’s cool at least.

Blizzard said in a previous interview that they wouldn’t do scummy “premium currency” tactics about pricing bundles in between currency packs. In the store it is offering a Golden Standard Bundle for 5000 runestones and a Mini Bundle for 2500. There is no option for 2500 Runestones, only 2000 then 5000, requiring me to do 2 separate transactions for what used to take one cash purchase.

The system is designed to coerce the ‘buy-up’ from the compulsive or lazy gamer and is gross. I used to throw 10 or 20 bucks at a bundle occasionally for dust but this system has guaranteed I will never spend cash money on Hearthstone again, and I’m honestly too disgusted to even play today.

I am a beta HS player.

I play every day 2-3 hours but still was wondering if it was worth staying in this game. I was hoping for something new and exciting to make me stay. Thanks for making the decision a lot easier. This just made me stop the game. I really feel annoyed and betrayed. Such a hoax. Uninstall and shame on the people who destroyed it. Bye bye

jeez you clearly didnt read about that lawsuit. ignorance is blizz and exaggerating is cook eh?

Guess, it’s time to leave.
I have been playing Hearthstone for a very long time, almost from the very beginning. Played Blizzard games since Diablo 1.

I guess I was ready for this - everything has been going to hell for the last couple of years.
That’s done it, I’m uninstalling right now. Will never touch any Blizzard product. Another lousy company went to sh*t.

I do this to support the Community, so these forums don’t devolve into stupid, childish name calling.

Just wait, soon runestones will be required to buy everything. Gold will be removed completely. And nothing will be able to be purchased without having to buy the stupid runestones first.

Blizzard just became a sickening, petty company overnight. Locking away cosmetical skins and flashy animations is benign and not very game jarring but locking away powerful abilities and heroes is predatorial and devastating to the game. Shame on you!

It is designed to disconnect the whale from a real monetary realization as now they are being subjected to an imaginary point system that will always end up with a leftover portion of their points remaining within their wallet. This phenomenon psychologically coerces them into obsessively desiring, “just a little bit more” points to be able to afford their next purchase as they wouldn’t want to waste the balance of points perpetually “remaining” within their wallets.

The packages of points are designed to never be able to satisfy any purchasable options without adding a little bit more points first, thus a never-ending, despicable and predatory practice.

i understand the BG perks with runestone only complain

but the }
"OMG people will spend money they usually spend to get a pre order by taking an extra step thats wroooooooooooong " doesnt make any sense to me

the goal with this currency is selling cosmetics they are planning on profiting from those who reaally reeealy have to have the cosmetics they sell

Unless they fix this and stop outright lying to the community, I am done with this game.

Blizzard is not for the gamer anymore, they are for the corporate sellouts.

Good bye!

From the mouths of babes… Try raising a family and see how far that “$10 here and $10 there” will go when you have a limited budget.

Who in the hell is ignorant enough and able to afford pissing away $79.99 anyways? What a huge waste of precious income…enjoy the “Pay-to-Win” model as it plagues the meta.
