You’ve been around since the start. Leave the thread open to people making suggestions and stop replying to this individual. If he’s trying to keep us from talking about Tyrande, he would be best served by distracting you and this fill up the whole thread with arguments rather than facts.
Can we re-state the initial facts and timeline for noobs to this thread?
At first, I was content to let him ramble off the deep end. But when he starts lying to people about what the devs themselves have said about this particular subject, and apparently the mods can’t be bothered to enforce the rules for this thread and the coc (dealing with the trolling, etc) someone has to set the record straight. Otherwise, they’ll see the wall of lies him and others are putting up, see that it isn’t being taken down and believe that in fact the silence on the subject (that the posts where he is claiming to speak for the devs/actiblizz, which are a big violation of the coc) are in fact truth…even though he doesn’t have gold or blue text.
I’d love it if we could return to talking about Tyrande. I’ve pointed out if him and others want to topic to go away (their claim at least more than once), they should stop bumping it themselves (something they’ve said they want less of anyway) with their trolling.
The logical follow up is “who picked you?” No one, but if I have the time to respond, and the facts (in this case, the ability to quickly link the gold text, or other relevant fact(s) in question) I might as well do so. I’m just doing my part to help the community while we wait for Tyrande to return.
I think the best thing you can do is just correct him below his reply without even referencing his comment. Clearly just a troll being bored trying to stir up peoples emotions. As this is a thread about tyrande as a hero portrait… Of course people who lurk in this thread will want her to return, “thats why were here”.

If you feel the need to sink to his level with name calling, you’re doing his work for him.
I addressed this one already. Allowing certain people to run roughshod over the thread with lies and misinformation, especially when the mods aren’t doing anything about it, makes it seem like those lies hold some official weight to them. The last thing people need is to start believing that nonsense, especially when there’s gold and blue text contradicting it.
On any other place on these forums, if someone showed up and came anywhere close to speaking for team 5/actiblizz as certain individuals have on this thread, the situation would have been dealt with by now. The fact that the mods allow someone to speak for team 5/actiblizz, in spite of the clear violation of the coc and the rules for this thread is very troubling.
It sets up the company for some very troubling legal issues, because someone who is not a legally authorized representative is making claims, statements etc that they are not allowed to make. On the other hand, when a blue, gold, etc makes a statement, they are given permission by the higher ups to do so, and their statements are cleared by actiblizz’s legal department etc.
In essence, the mods are allowing a rogue poster to make statements for their company that contradict what their own developers have said on their Q&As, are doing nothing about it, which undermines confidence in their product and harms their company.
Honestly tired of this Bobafett guy trying to argue with everyone. Last posts I’ve seen is just them arguing with people, no wonder no one posts here anymore.

Sure, let’s attack someone who actually trying to counter the misinformation, outright lies, and attack posts that are being made by people trying to shut the thread down…and instead blame someone actually posting facts and gold text to counter it. Gotta consider the sources here:

Dude, none of this is serious. It’s a thread about a skin for a video game. The “sources” you claim to be showing to counter hkq’s misinformation are two gold texts from April, we know about them and no one is disputing them. And nobody is listening to hkq’s ramblings but you.
And don’t use gaslighting, it’s becoming a very overused word nowadays.
Also I see hkq has edited the top post again, really don’t know what happened to that guy. Complete shift in tone and ideology since April.
It is important, when someone is misrepresenting facts on what is the semiofficial thread for the Tyrande hero skin. If no one responded, or linked to the actual gold text, then the only posts people would see are the trolls telling them that they have secret information about why they need to give up on their “delusions/illusions” and stop bumping this thread.
That’s a problem on many levels, which I’ve gone into on previous posts.
“Sources.” When they are the devs for the game, they aren’t “sources” they are the official word for the game, as opposed to someone’s secret, unnamed sources/reasons for why certain people feel the need to troll everyone. And there are people disputing them: the people trolling this thread, who have repeatedly spoken on team 5’s/actiblizz’s behalf even though they are not authorized to do so, and the coc clearly says that is against the rules.
Just because others don’t use it correctly doesn’t mean it can’t be used when it’s correct to do so: case in point, when people claim that trolling isn’t going on in this thread by certain people when in fact it is.
No idea, but it’s just getting worse. Especially since the mods refuse to act, and apparently don’t care that the rules for the thread and the coc are being flouted.

The fact that you try so hard to argue, to even go back to older posts of mine just to argue is astounding. Posts that you didn’t even care about when I posted them, but now suddenly do because I said something to you. In all of your posts you exert so much effort into arguing and “being right” over a Tyrande portrait.
When people are posting outright lies, speaking for the developers of the game (a violation of the forums coc) and breaking the rules for this thread, it’s not about being “right” it’s about reminding people what the blues have established for this thread, and the coc in general.
You and the other trolls want to make it personal, by continuing to attack people who simply want team 5 to keep their promise, going so far as to call names, editing posts to discourage people away from the thread, etc. Even though the mods won’t do anything about your behavior, which only emboldens you and the other trolls to continue your attacks against people who are only looking to have a promise made years ago (and reaffirmed earlier this year) kept. A situation, I would again point out that would have been completely avoided if the devs for this game hadn’t intentionally made a move that discriminated and excluded most of their global playerbase.
But it won’t work, and no matter how long the mods refuse to enforce the rules for the this thread, or the coc for the forums it won’t chase us away. We’ll remind you, either until Tyrande returns or the day hearthstone shuts down that you made your players a promise. One that you have failed to deliver on, despite all your statements (individually and as a company) of being inclusive and against discrimination.
We’re still here. We’re not going anywhere. We want you to keep your promise and bring back Tyrande, team 5.
So, the recap of all this disorder is: Tyrande should be back for the excluded countries to give back the universe to its balance.
