You play with a deck you decide to switch to another because it’s not performing well and right then you get your deck as your opponent and of course they win ez pz with it. Tell me this is “just a coincidance”… I just “love” it… Whoever implemented this sick algorithm to the game should step barefoot on a LEGO every 5 seconds for the rest of his / her sick-o life.
Or another “best” thing. One day you go lets say 10 - 2 with a deck and the next day you can’t win a single game even against decks you’re favoured. Tell me that’s not rigged… I dare you Blizzard.
Actually, the whole point of rigging is that a better player doesn’t use this ‘unfair’ advantage, colloquially referred to as skill , and win more, since it would get those player masses FRUSTRATED, as this forum demonstrates.
People believing HS would be designed fairly are no different to me than those who claim that so-called ‘professional wrestling’ is competitive sport comprising matches that are definitely not staged or rigged (which has been more or less the ‘trade secret’ of this whole shebang’s commercial success and popularity, from what I’ve heard) — especially given that some technology with obvious rigging applications has been implemented within the game and demonstrated to the public: Optimotron, Zephrys… maybe there are some other obvious examples, but I can’t readily think of them. You wouldn’t really think a company such as Blizzard, known for its… ahem… ‘generosity’, would design this just so that players could have some fun for free in a Tavern Brawl, would you?
Nice ‘shilling’ for the company!
I knew a HS streamer who used to basically make a living from streaming HS (since closed Beta, if memory serves) for his local community, which included farming the Arena, at which he’d been quite good and consistent. Despite his ability to essentially farm packs for free, he admitted that at a certain point it was no longer enough and he was forced to spend real money in order to stay competetive and have a shot at Legend, then dropped it all since it was no longer financially viable, having subsequently returned only for Battlegrounds (oops, they are P2W now, too, by the way, but that’s another matter). This is just an example of how ‘more’ F2P-friendly HS has become over the yeards — yet here comes a ‘white knight’ with a ridiculous tirade how fair and generous the game is… Go on, tell us also how there’s ‘no evidence’ of rigging and so on.
Yep it is…
I only play BG and sometimes Arena, but on BG I’ve just dropped from 8700 to 5200 within a week.
Bob’s tavern is barely giving anything decend.
My gold picks are the worst minions for my board.
My opponent’s keep on targeting the best minions they can hit and mine do the opposite, triggering every effect in the best way possible, while mine are gone at the first possible moment.
The last 10 Arenas, my picks were not linking up, even had 1 where I didn’t even get the choice of a 5+ mana card (Not Rogue).
I win the first game nearly everytime and then get beat before round 6 in the 3 games after.
I can understand it happens a few games, but this is just ridiculous.
It’s not possible to drop below 6000 because it’s a ranking/rating floor.
Apart from this, BG is obviously rigged as hell.
There is no randomness is this game at all, “rng” is an illusion.
The outcome of every turn is decided by the algorithm.
What you perceive as a “combat phase” is just an animation.
When the “combat” starts, the outcome is already settled on the server.
And that’s why all the Blizzard defenders claiming that the game is actually fair, and supposed random is actually random should prove that.
Game not being fair, and claimed randomness not being random can’t be proven, since those are negatives.
Pure casino in a flashing video game, it fix itself after you spend some money, suddenly it becomes move favored to your side. Other then money spending it’s a 50/50 stupied fiesta with streaks of win/lose.
They even did none droppable levels to make people less frustrated and to stop sudden account deletion in a rage burst.
Also it’s addicted if you played long enough.
Of course, video games are generally designed to be as addictive as possible.
They want your money and your time, that’s all.
And there are still people how seriously think, they don’t manipulate the game… and babble about proof and scientific method… It’s hilarious.
This could qualify as a double contender for two prises at once: one for the most ridiculous notion and another for the prime example of hillbilly grammar on this forum.
You sure about that?
You buy something, and it doesn’t even work:
Do you think buying the adventure with real money, as opposed to gold, circumvents the issue?
PS I had a feeling that the aforementioned tripe, nominated for ‘the most ridiculous notion’, was not even original and reminded me of something, and here you are, in this very topic, for example:
I wonder if there’s a case of a ‘masqureade’ or a ‘split personality’, if you know what I mean, or some… paraintellectual types are so extraordinary that they parrot every stupidity they come across.
Imagine some of the posters having any capability for reflection and thus realising the irony in the… dubious product of their loquaciousness.
I’m not even talking about something like Gödel’s theorems — that’s probably too complicated for a redneck to grasp. For starters, I’d suggest a much simpler exercise: can those who believe they ‘can’t prove a negative’ prove it, i.e. that they ‘can’t prove a negative’?
But I suppose I’ll not go much further into this, since I find harbouring any illusions about the prospect of educating this particular… audience not prudent. Another ‘thought experiment’, if you will: imagine encountering an ordinary pile of dung lying on a road. You can provide solid arguments to it, display brilliant logic and masterful rhetoric skills, but your particular… ‘opponent’ in this discussion would just lie there, generally stink and not budge. I find this metaphorical pile a much more reasonable and socially acceptable ‘person’ then many… orators with their particular ‘opinions’ here, by the way. What? At least it’s not aggressive in its ignorance.
Then this streamer was a garbage player. Unless that person was talking about having to grind top legend on all 3 servers. A free player can upkeep a competitive collection on 1 server without spending a dime.
