Hey, Blizzard Customer service, it’s me again, Charles, Player from China. I just trying everything I could to contact with you guys the LK expansion is coming , yet we CN players still haven’t received a new about how we keep our account, last tick I received state that collection couldn’t be transferred , I start to play it since 2014, for many day and night, countless time I spend on the game, there is no way to get the time back, I make a calculation, that I totally spend about 1000 US dollar, I know it’s impossible to get the money back, and I just want to make a compromise , a compensation in game. All I need just the gold and dust back transfer in the new account like a nerf refund method, the hero skin I owe, uncollectable diamond card from the barren to the sunken city, I have no choose but give it up, because I know it might be complicate, hope they would be for sales one day. The every 30 level mercenaries I own and the diamond portrait and 40000 renown, It’s heartbroken because it spend me for a year to farm all the coin to build it, it’s one of my most important collection, I hope pack and time can help me reclaim all my mercenaries back, the total pack I claim in history is about 6000 pack, so totally require a compensation of 650000, and 200000 Arcane dust back, yes, that is the price for eight years, I try every way I can think of, and I am shock about the total amount of gold in hearthstone history I once earn, I try to create a new account these day, watching the collection are all gone is truly heartbroken, not to mention I can’t caught up with other players with 5 expansion, Now the MoLK expansion is coming, I really want to continue my hearthstone game play in the future, I don’t know what kind of solution you guys might come out with, but I wouldn’t just sit here and wait, last time I receive a reply said data can’t transfer, So I believe this is the only way can works, if Blizzard, hearthstone team, truly care about us
I support you ,bro. This is a huge blow to many Chinese players, and you should understand that you are going to shut down the strongest server in the world.
Thanks for your support! I only wish the Blizzard could hear us, the digital merchandise is still ours, and we all love the game, just wish to continue with my old collection again😭
As bad as it is, is this even blizzard fault?
I thought it was a chinese company that is no longer giving the permission to blizzard to publish HS in China; I think they would gladly keep that huge part of their playerbase.
I don’t know if it’s doable, but can’t blizzard just make a “chinese server” in America, where all the Chinese account can play?
I hope you don’t lose your accounts and that they find a solution that doesn’t cost anything to the players
This way might works too, but last interview I submitted the ticket and they said they couldn’t get the date transferred across the region, for us, we just wanted to keep our account no matter how, honestly eight years ago I was just a elementary student and didn’t know it would come to this otherwise I would just create my account in Asia server
The account information is owned by a chinese company subject to chinese communist party rules.
The account information is domiciled in a chinese company server subject to chinese communist party rules.
The network connections you use to connect to any game servers are owned by a chinese company server subject to chinese communist party rules.
Any purchases in chinese currency transactions are subject to chinese captial controls and controlled by chinese communist party rules.
The chinese communist party controls you.
Fireseal is spot on.
Unfortunately, like so many companies actiblizz sold their proverbial soul for cash ot do business in that country, and threw op and everyone there under the bus when they did business there.
Like google and other companies that gave access to user’s account info to the government, and many other examples.
Even companies OUTSIDE the so called “people’s republic” do their bidding, silencing critics who speak out against the abuses of the regime.
Who gets hurt when no one takes a stand: normal people, like op and those who suffer every day under the regime.
Shame on actiblizz first, for not finding a better deal that let their customers get their data in the event of something like this happening. Shame on all those who refuse to condemn one of the worst human rights abusers out there, and willingly supported the regime earlier this year and legitimatized them by participating and doing business with the Olympics there. And most of all shame on the regime and all those who are a part of it.
I support the people there and the victims of the regime. I hope that one day you will be free.
Listen, Blizzard got their cut from the cooperation with the Chinese company and their market too, the cooperation broke it’s all about benefits share unequal, China did have their publishing law doesn’t allow foreign companies directly publishing game without a local company, but it is actually quite common in other countries too, if you just want to talk about CCP stuff, be my guess in another forum and I can talk about it with my opinions, no problem, but here I only to solve the problem as a player try to save my collection as my digital property, we player did nothing wrong and I believe Blizzard should have a backup plan before ruining anything
The players being blameless is correct. However, the party is far from blameless, though they will never admit it. Their censorship and forcing games to change everywhere for their market is widely known everywhere but your home market, and few companies have stood up to them.
Of course they took their 30 pieces of silver for selling out their customers, I made that point above. But the level of control that the party has over the market, companies, and literally everything there is part of the reason this issue (among a whole host of others) is going on.
I get you can’t talk about it (literally without placing your freedom or life in danger). That alone should cue you in to how much that BOTH actiblizz and the party are at fault in this.
Exactly, Blizzard is all about business, we all know things in China is quite special , not only about systems and laws, but a country with 1.4 billion, the government did some ridiculous moves just to keep it stable, companies like google, I love it too, but you should know when a company like it would easily smash the local internet companies, so some of the move they did is to protect their own company, not to mention the freedoms stuff, by the way, I’m free from my mind otherwise I wouldn’t be here, this topic could go a lot further if you are interested, just remember something countless many lives, just want stability, we got a long way to go, and there’s no a country is perfect, cause people rules it, and human is not “perfect”
you chinese players learn how to respect firstly. Since the annoucement, there is explosion of you CN players come to US server and never behave, I had it couple of times the oppenent mocking at me and after the game add me privately and send some buxxit trash.
So upon of it, I don’t think you guys are innocent at least some of you are not welcomed to be here, I support Blizzard to ban the IP from CN
First of all, sorry about what happened to you, but I can’t guarantee everyone would behave nice, I can’t represent everyone in the country, neither can you, you got to know crazy people exist in this world, all I can do is try my best in my part, also I am here to find a solution for CN player, hope you understand if Blizzard got plan for the CN player to transfer their account somewhere else, they wouldn’t be in your server right now, so hope we get these issues settle down and we can all get what we want, again, sorry about that bad behavior happened to you, if you don’t mind you can add me as your friend, a good friend can always beat two trashes
Nevermind some characters here who seem to be living in a black-and-white world and somehow consider themselves fit to judge, with a rather imperialistic attitude, entire nations, countries, their sovereign governments (like it’s any of their business) and so on — let alone outright hate posts, as above, which are just to be reported as such.
This topic is another example how one corporation’s rapacity harms ordinary gamers most, and the least I could do is sympathise with you and others affected. Moreover, this demonstrates how the company in question tends to treat players from various parts of the world in a fashion that could be described as… colonialistic, perhaps. To an extent, this has happened to players in some other countries, too, for example: No Nathria packs in shop.
PS Oh, one more thing:
As far as I’m aware, they don’t actually treat it as such — the whole shebang is their property, as per EULAs etc.
Then tell me why the chinese players like to mock and abusing? Many of them add me after game and send some chinese trash? Do I deserve it? answer me? You cute angel. Why I never saw someone else send me those abuse sticker and language before? You don’t have the clue how hypocrtical of chinese people are.
It’s true, but I can’t blame them, the environment changes people and it’s even more harder for everyone to think with sympathy- mostly people didn’t know what exactly happened somewhere else, but lucky there’s still nice people like you, and I am grateful to know someone like you, I know a lot of people having issue with something bad happened involving some Chinese people, but got to know it cannot represent all of them, for myself I hate those behaviors too, still, thank you for understanding😉
And for this part, I know, but I just spent 8year in the game and I already treat it like mine, so I just said it from my heart hopefully Blizzard understands how important it is for a loyal gamer
Do I really have to explain such things in 2022? Alright: just because you think you’ve met a couple of strange persons, doesn’t mean you can make these absolutely improper generalisations about all of them. Isn’t that obvious?
Ah, how glad I am to read such words. Wouldn’t it be nice for all of us to at least try, though?
Yes, I can totally understand how many people have invested so much emotionally into these games and their worlds — it’s not even all about money, I think… Although money is probably all that the greedy corporate bosses think of.
You don’t own anything.
Chinese communist party doesn’t want you playing foreign games? The end.
Next week there will be a native chinese company “Snowstorm” with a new card game “Firestone”. You can play there until they decide people are spending too much time in the game, then your account will close again.
What are you going to do when they actually cut out VPN’s and other avoidance tunnels for real one day? Golden shield? More like golden prison.
So…concentration camps are “no one’s business?” according to you.
Pretty black and white if they are evil or not.
Thank you for the kind word mate, since I don’t know how to reply multiple people, I chose to reply you first, I knew some people don’t like my country or the government, it’s quite common cause it was never perfect, if someone want to go further in this topic, they can add me as friend and we can go further, local government requires the local people and younger generations to change it, until then, we can only try my best to maintain peace. Thanks again mate for your support, it means a lot, hope you enjoy the MoLK expansion, it launched today or any other game, hopefully Blizzard is still the one that makes great games, great story, and take good care of everyone players, the game is nothing without the players- it’s still not too late
don’t change the topic to be the politically. kid, nothing is perfect, but your evil goverment can’t say decent for the word. First of all ,explain to me why ur goverment changed the ZERO policy by now. Why your goverment speaker keeped the stupid policy for so long? both you and me know why is that, but I guess u won’t admit it.
