Lotta hoops to jump through, but there’s your inevitability.

Thanks for the images I wasn’t sure how to add them myself. This is exactly the sort of card I like to see for a control class. A clear definitive win condition, no RNG nonsense and some inevitability

Kinda reminds me of ol’ DK Uther, but with more hoops to jump through.

All things considered though, not particularly difficult hoops to jump through.

Better because there’s Primordial Protector that will either grab the shard or be the 8 mana card needed to complete the questline

that is kinda curvestone taken to the extreme?

really not sure how i feel about a “OTK” like that, feels like either priest has enough tools to make it work too consistent and has to be nerfed again or it´ll be t4.

Noteworthy though that the shard does not appear to be a spell nor a minion, so no way to cheese it out asap.

I’m just happy to see Priest with an in-deck wincon.

This quest is very slow. Considering you have to complete each section (which could be a chore unto itself) and THEN play the mercenary. And THEN draw the final piece. And THEN play the final piece for 10 mana. However, considering that spell is an auto-win…yeah, you can’t really design a card like this to be Tier 1.

Edit: ANNNND THEN…

Fans of Dude, Where’s My Car? will get it.

It’s a spell. It can be tutored for with spell tutors like thrive in shadows and primordial protector.

Primordial Protector and this will be best friends

well, guess we´ll see primordial priest then.

still i am very afraid that if this gets consistent turn 12-14kill this way priest will be slaughtered by blizzard.

This card is really cool. May be a little overpowered though. Priest merely has to curve for 8 turn and he kills you on turn 10 . Legit.

Warlock Quest looks 10/5, cool and fun.

Priest Quest looks -11/5, uncool and unfun.

Primordial Protector is cool, but expensive. You can shuffle it and draw with Thrive in the Shadows in 1 turn. And, of course, you can use both cards.

Reminds me of Second Sun Control in MTG.

Finally, win conditions that don’t require going to fatigue or discovering random win conditions.

Oh man, again a card that just lets you win? Why are they always developing bull like that?

Doesnt matter if its playable or not, something like this shouldnt happen or at least should need far more to do than just playing on curve. Already hate this expansion.

True but it’s not guaranteed you get it like it is with protector

mh, if the card takes reduced costs into account it´ll be kinda hard to find good 8 drops as fleshgiant and PW:Fortitude will rarely cost 8 and that currently leaves us with natalie, ghunn or idol (yea primordial, but you want to play those after you finish the quest, not to finish it.

Could this be something viable with the deck list I was theorizing that it might be useful.
In my post here…

I mean hitting Priests survivability certainly makes more sense now considering the potential of this card. Whether it will be any good we will see, very excited to have a play around with this card though.
