Thats quite interesting i wonder if my anti virus has something like that i dont know im not that techno savy lol.
And they should be 100% sued if it is. Screwing with peoples’ antivirus puts their systems at risk, and this is no different than when they were messing with programs outside their (actiblizz) programs previously.
Careful, now…the person you’re describing is literally the same person you quoted and described them to.
Oh, they are not idiots and probably knew what they were doing. ‘It all makes perfect sense expressed in dollars and cents, pounds, shillings and pence.’
I beg to differ. Those ‘black swans’ are all around us. We’ve probably got no idea how hubrtistic we are in the assumption that we are so knowing and have seen it all.
I’d say this species is mostly smart — often very much so — post factum only.
Not sure I understood your phrase (keyboards with ‘autocorrection’ playing tricks on you or something like it?), but the topic-starter has most likely been rebuffed by a bot (doing the ‘copy-paste’ thingy, yes), not by an employee.
Have you not seen it in the other topic?
Take a good look at these:

So much for the Micro$oft strart… Although, gotta say, personally, I haven’t been suprised about this one at all.
Or perhaps you just don’t know ol’ Boba on this forum like I do.
They are banning innocent people. I was NEVER running a bot and was banned. I did accidentally have Tunnelbear, a free VPN provider, running when I opened Hearthstone but as far as I know a VPN is not a violation. They simply don’t care that they are banning innocent players. If someone files a class action lawsuit please post a message as I would like to sign on.
I got an answer on my ticket and all they did was talk about how I violated their terms of service. Completely ignored my complaint that I was not running a bot and NEVER have. My only mistake was not realizing Tunnelbear, my free VPN provider, was running when I loaded up Hearthstone. I looked through their terms of service and running a VPN is not a violation of their terms. I will continue to post about this in the forums till something is done.
i was not botting but you are free to believe what u want.
The company isn’t a user. Pointing out that someone should contact a lawyer to explore their rights isn’t a threat to another user, and whoever flagged the post is guilty of abusing the report system. And if the mods were doing their jobs, whoever did it would be banned, as that is a violation of the coc.
But, we’re now in bizzaro world where bots are protected, players are banned instead, and mass flaggers get protected by the mods.
Ohhh I know. Welcome to Hearthstone forums where criticism of the game means posts removed by those who adamantly swear the game is perfect.
Forum or in all blizzard games, you are banned AUTOMATICALLY based on a certain number of reports, you do not have a blizzard investigation to check if the ban is justified.
Their banning system is shameful and illegal since you have innocent players banned, The Blizzard community is ultra toxic. Just play a deck that frustrates opponents to get bot reports (even though you don’t bot) and get banned for botting.
it only applies to this forum ( we dont have mods ) not games
This.
Even though abusing the report system is a violation of the coc and should result in those doing it being banned, it clearly isn’t happening.
Hopefully microsoft does more house cleaning, and makes more accountability in this process. It’s sorely needed.
Is that a euphemism for ‘more layoffs’?
WHAT?!
I would never say someone needs to be fired (except politicians).
It’s clearly very dirty at their headquarters. And it needs to be cleaned. Thoroughly.
What M$ has been doing so far — for starters, so to speak.
Its unlikely you were banned for the game for that game. Blizzard tend to be slow they add people to a list then ban them all at once.
I know I reported somone is wsg for speed hacking , the game was over before we reached their base. The game was over in 1 minute 2 second and that was something they could easily check from there side. the player pvp’ed almost every day for the next 6 weeks when I got bored checking to see if he had been banned.
all you can do is appeal your ban until they say no more appeals or you get someone who at least seems human.
If anyone starts a class action lawsuit please post about it here. I would like to sign up.
well, your been caught using software. Sleeping “few hours” is not even possible for human body.
ROFL. “innocent” ban as usual.
how come, people who do not use cheats never get a ban? Mystery i guess…
accused. Big difference.
And from the number of people showing up giving similar accounts, the company cares more about banning real players than bots.
clearly botters paying more than the players. Follow the money.
Also people are using the reporting service like swatting to get people banned. That Blizzard uses reporting as some sort of standard is ridiculous.
