So still have this problem but have found a way around it.
If I just wait on the start screen until I hear the innkeeper’s welcome voice lines. Meaning not clicking through when the daily quests pop up and just waiting until I hear the innkeeper, the game doesn’t error out on me.
Hope this helps someone else.

i think blizzard should refund players if this issue continues

Same bug happened to me, worked fine 8 hours ago, now it just glitches out and I get that error message each time…
Still having this issue, if daily quests are completed, workaround won’t work. Tried going to a different region and that did not work either
I am also having the same problem. I literally cannot login to the game
Same, can’t load the collection and crashes everytime
if you go to settings and reset the game settings, when you login there will be a screen with the nerfed cards… you can wait the 2min there instead of the quests screen… worked for me

I’m still having this problem, constantly getting the “ran to a network problem” message before anything else pops up in the game. Have tried it on mobile and on PC, and the game still keeps crashing.
I’ve been facing this issue off and on for the past few months. Sometimes it launches correctly after trying two to three times and sometimes it just refuses to work. Just unable to log in today after trying for almost an hour.
Over 24 hours, and the issue is still happening
Same here had sporadic issues since 11:00 (all times are my local time -Greece UTC+2) from 17:00 since now (23:43) cannot play at all

I’ve been having the same issue for a week or more. I’ve been using the workaround where you let it sit on the daily quests screen until you hear the innkeeper speak before doing anything, and that’s been working. Today, all my quests are complete, so I couldn’t do that, so I tried the workaround where you switch regions, load the game completely, then logout and switch regions back from the earlier blue post, but it didn’t work for me. Then I had the thought: “Really Blizzard? Really? You don’t have a fix for this yet? It’s been weeks, and we still have to use workarounds?” Come on, Blizz… You’re really dropping the ball here. WTF is going on? The world is being confined to our homes, we need our games to work!

yup me too, iam from Viet Nam and this happened to me multiple of time. This is annoying as heck.
so when is this patch coming then? couldn’t play the game for 3, almost 4 weeks now…
just to test i made an entirely new account. that thing worked until i tried to login a 2nd time with it and guess what, haven’t been able to make that thing work either when there’s not even a quest for that one yet… it’s a nightmare
