I previously hit 6 Legends a month for 5 months straight. I used to play A LOT, but now I hardly play at all. Rarely make legend.
I’ve almost completely lost interest in Hearthstone because of this. I only buy the bundle, whereas I used to buy much more. I used to watch Twitch and Youtube all day while I worked and played, but now I can’t even watch Hearthstone anymore.
I’m feeling like my life is better off for this, and I don’t think they will ever fix this or even respond to this thread – it’s been too long.

Still waiting on that fix Blizzard or maybe just admit your response is a huge FU to the player base that is affected. Over 6 months now without a true fix is beyond disrespectful to the community.

Still nothing? Dont get it … no time to post update or what is “the” problem? Are you waiting for Android 11?

Nice try fanboi. Your first option is just another apologetic lie. The second option does not change anything, the game already quits when trying to launch on cellular.
Perhaps we should start making tickets, all of us. Spam them until they give us an update. Then maybe a year later we might be able to play again.
I think it’s funny how I can wifi hotspot from my phone to my laptop and then play hearthstone… It’s an app issue. 100% on blizzard to fix.

I am unable to connect with data.
I haven’t tried doing a mobile Hotspot myself to see if others can connect through my mobile data.
However, my coworker has his plan through Verizon and I am able to log in to Hearthstone when he enables a mobile Hotspot and I connect to his phone.

I’m with Sprint/ T- mobile. I “used to” be able to play on data only if I used CDMA network. today I switched my SIM card to work better with the T- mobile network. well…DAMMIT… hearthstone no longer works with mobile data.
I’m sad…
I’ve posted here before with some solutions.
I’ve applied this fix on the Samsung S8,S9,S10,S20,Note20u all on Tmobile.
The issue is(was?) Ipv6. Disable that in the connections (look up my detailed post).
A recent update to my tmobile phone renabled ipv6. Disable that and it worked again for me… except once I’m in the app and authenticated… lots of odd problems loading various features. This is new to me. I’ve never been able to get to the point where I can start a game and then the app breaks. Or open an pack to find it empty.
Wifi of course works fine. Just some info to add to all those having issues.
Archana, can you describe your situation further?
Cell service provider? Home internet service provider?
Do you rent your wifi home router? What brand?
This is good info.
Thanks!
Greetings Hearthstone Players. Thought I’d add to this thread with some hope that it isn’t Blizzard’s fault but solely T-Mobiles. Cause I found this thread looking for why Kabam’s Marvel Contest of Champions wasn’t working. Same Issues. Same Workarounds that only sometime work. I certainly would like to get this fixed. Thanks.

Brand new Samsung S20 from t-mobile, same issue. Fix your app Blizzard. A mobile app should work on mobile networks.
I just upgraded my phone from a Samsung S8 (where I could play on mobile data) to S10 (now can’t play on data) but my provider/SIM card is exactly the same.
How does that work? Its not the provider in this case, but the phone itself?
Same problem since May. S10+ on Rogers in Canada. Tried dropping down to 3g, still doesn’t work. I cannot edit APN settings with this Rogers sim card.

It’s not your phone. It’s Activision not wanting to spend resources on this bug. They aren’t making enough money.
UPDATE! Hearthstone works again. So it’s probably not a blizzard issue, but a phone provider issue.
Just google " cannot connect to hearthstone with mobile data". What i did was the “Add new APN (Access Point Network)” technique.
FINALLY, i can hearthstone away from home.
Yes, there is same issue with my connect. Only can use phone’LTE to logon hearthstone. Not for wifi. So cannot use PC to logon hearthstone with wifi.
Same issue here where i cannot log into the game using 3g,4g,5g. I just got the galaxy S20 today, but i believe it has something to do with either the battlenet/hearthstone authentication server for the mobile client then anything else mainly because of after uninstalling and all sorts of shenanigans (clear cache/data, different apn, even different network sim cards (from t-mobile to att) if i say im a new player after a fresh install it lets me play the game on mobile, but if i log into my account i can no longer access the game unless its on wifi. hope this helps others who are looking with same issue
Seems to be some issue with the Samsung Galaxy line. Possibly others also, but reading through this thread I seem to hear many complaining mainly about the Samsung line of phones.
Also started happening to me after the May update and never fixed itself. I’ve taken all the steps outlined in the troubleshooting.
I use an S10+ on the Rogers network in Canada. Doesn’t work. My brother uses an S8, works fine for him. My gf uses an iPhone 11 and uses the same network as me and it works fine for her.
I’ve tried using a VPN and its allowed me to play the game on mobile data, but it’s finicky and sometimes disconnects.
I really wish whatever patch screwed this up would just be undone.
