[Main Thread] Cannot connect to Hearthstone on Mobile Data

Note 9 same issue. My speed off wifi is around 25-35 mb/s which should not be an issue.

Now thinking of getting the 5g phone and see what that does ;(

After months of their fix working, I found today to be right back to being unable to play without wifi.

11/18/2020. Let’s see how long this takes to even get noticed. :roll_eyes:

Okay so it’s been what 4 months since there was at least an update on this issue, and you’ve since released a new expansion without fixing this issue. Could we at least get an update? I’ve had this issue with the game for over over half a year and your “work around” does not work for me. Is this issue even on blizzard’s radar anymore?

Seeing as they’re not even responding anymore, I heavily doubt it. Enough PC users are still playing, and spending money… what incentive do they have to fix anything?

Last developer update says it will take “some time to resolve” and that was in July. Why is this so difficult to fix Blizzard? It is ridiculous that mobile players are still waiting on a resolution. Bad enough waiting this long, but also knowing there will be no real compensation for the issue makes it worse.

For anyone wondering about a fix its pretty simple. Switch cell providers or just quit Hearthstone. 2nd option is cheaper just fyi.

I’m experiencing the opposite problem. I can play Hearthstone on mobile data but not on wi-fi. The screen stays fixed on the doors, no Hearthstone logo. Hearthstone loads normally over mobile data, but I frequently get disconnected. I’m on an unlimited data plan as well so the connection shouldn’t be an issue. Hearthstone please fix this!

Stop being a troll, why should we have to change our cellular service in order to play a game we had previously been able to, just fine.
T-mobile does great out in the boonies, so it isn’t an option.

I’ve been tempted, actually. T-mobile has been garbage since the sprint merger this past May. Glad it works for you, but I am stuck with a paperweight more often than not. Especially when I need wifi to play this game.

Did you try sending money directly to Blizzard? this is one of the conditions for a fix now

Can we get an update? It’s been actual months since mobile performance has suffered and, for some, no way to even log in.

Adding another. New update, I have an S20 using boost mobile. I haven’t been able to login unless I’m on wifi. Started with the newest patch. It will just sit on the loading screen indefinitely. I tried the fixes from others reporting this back in May, and none of it worked. Reddit shows others having this issue as well.
