Yes Blizzard claims this to be the fix. This does not work as reported by dozens of people. Stop trolling.
Is there really still no fix for this and still no response from blizzard for months? What the hell are they doing?
Saw a post in here about playing on laptop using phone’s wifi. Used my Sprint S10 phone that can’t play on lte to see if this worked and yep my Laptop using phone’s wifi worked fine despite phone app not working.
I’ve fixed my issue by messing around switching to 2g then trying to open the game then close the game switch back to 4glte. Fixed my issue and I believe it will fix anyone else’s issue here as well.
After many attempts … Downloaded “hotspot shield vpn” , select free, watch add to add extra time … worked for me. Canada, Fido, Samsung S20. But seriously YOU NEED TO FIX THIS BLIZZ. cheers
I don’t see a way to change my connection from 4g to 2g and back without restarting my phone.
Can’t believe this still isn’t fixed. Anyways as someone who has been on this issue since may, I can atleast confirm like others that a VPN does work. I tried the access point fix that others suggested and it didn’t work.

Still waiting Blizzard. How long does it take to fix a ‘known’ issue? Either revert the change that created this issue or create a fix please. Making a large portion of your player base wait this long for a fix is beyond poor customer service.

I can connect to a VPN, and play via cellular data, on my note 9, or I can play on my note 9, on my home wifi.
However I still cannot connect with just plain old cellular data.
Come the frick on Blizzard, fix this already.

I guess their strategy now is to just wait for all affected users to get fed up and quit Hearthstone.

Nubia red magic 5S I have had an open ticket with you guys for the last five days first you referred me to the idiots guide of restarting and clearing the cache and uninstalling and I have done all that repetitively before I even open the ticket. This is my second service provider one was a wired provider through spectrum this one is a Wi-Fi connection through RedZone wireless so it is not the connection either I’ve also been through three phones a moto 5G and Asus Zen phone 5 and now this Nubia red magic 5S which has 12 gigs of RAM half a terabyte hard drive and octa core and could run Hearthstone 10 times at a time if it needed to. But I can’t even run it once because you guys keep giving me the runaround the latest ticket you gave me was to one to do a Windows or Mac software screenshot which I told you repetitively I do not have a desktop computer and then you asked me to do tracer which again I do not own a desktop so instead I ran it through looking glass and sent you guys the information hopefully that helps I just want to play the game that I’ve spent thousands of dollars on and if you can’t get it working since I know it’s not on my end because I have six other games that play fine have a top of the line gaming phone and have had been through two isps since starting Hearthstone I will contact my lawyer to get refunded for all the money I’ve spent for a game that I cannot play because you keep giving me generic links to generic fixes I need someone on the line with me telling me what to do step by step and getting this fixed now.

Gonna add my name to this as well. T-Mobile, Android, s10. Would just chalk it up to crappy reception when not using wifi. But now that I’m in my house, and waiting on wifi, its apparent that its not due to crappy reception.

Those having this issue, have you tried changing your DNS in your router / devices to those free DNS available? Google dns, opendns etc? Dont use Cloudflare, its having some issues currently.
