[Main Thread] Cannot connect to Hearthstone on Mobile Data

Blizzard, why no update? S10 Plus on TMobile. Still will not work. Only works if i activate VPN but that slows it down. Come on , FIX IT!

Huh… New expansion huh?.. Another 80 dollars you want from me blizzard? I can’t this time. I couldn’t log in off wifi for the galakrond xpac, I couldn’t for the scholomance xpac, and the way it looks since you haven’t said anything in 3 going on 4 months… I know i can’t this time. I’m sad that I think this is the end of HS for me and I have to go play Dota underlords

Its very sad this is still a problem. I had this issue back in the middle of the Ashes of Outland Expansion and am still dealing with it to this day. Blizzard please just get it together and fix it please.

Same, can NOT configure/edit APN. Grayed out. Clearly, I should of stayed with Verizon. Holy sh*t.

Im very disappointed in blizzard in handling issues in the last few years. If this tmobile and sprint blocking then we can direct our efforts there. Something seems off with hearthstone since it seems require both IPv4 and ipv6. On v4 it hangs on the doors and on only v6 hangs at the hearthstone logo. With both enable hangs at doors. Ive been slowing down my purchases with blizzard, prove us wrong and fix or inform us who the issue is with.

I have tried every avenue of getting this game to work.
I have Uninstalled the game 8 times and reinstalled it with various combinations. Wifi for all, data for all, and interchanged the download from the play store and the actual download of the content have both been downloaded using wifi and data. I have restarted my phone every time. I have changed my password. I have updated it from a computer and logged into my phone after. I have cache and cleared data. I have done nearly every combination in every variation possible.

It works immediately for wifi but will not load for mobile data. I have an s20 ultra so there is not issue there. When you load it you can play on the im new option, but logging in takes you to the doors with the symbol glowing.

I got it to work a couple days ago but then when it updated it happened again. I need help!!

Okay so I had the same issue (Samsung Galaxy S20 w/ latest version of Android). I am on Fido network (canadian company) and after trying all the workarounds on this thread to no avail, I managed to get the game to work on mobile data. All I had to do was connect to a VPN and game is now working on mobile data. Hope this works for you guys too !

VPN cost money yeah? Which VPN did you use?

My devices used to all work great. Kindles, androids, home networks, roaming networks, hotspots. None of it was a problem. Now, none of them work. And yes, I’ve done the APN 4/6 thing.

My guess is that it’s because of all these new game modes and how they’re sending information. I don’t even play battlegrounds, but still.

There’s a tweaked apk of ExpressVPN that allows you to get the 1 week trial forever :wink:

It has been half a year. Because I can only use wifi I now only play 1/10 of what I use too. Please give us an update. I would pay again but now I am more inclined to never play again.

Give us anything please. Or just fix it.

My Kindle Fire HD 10 (7th generation) was recently upgraded to Fire OS 5.6.8.0 (installed November 5th) and my Hearthstone is at version 19.0.65614.

That being said, I am still unable to log into the game. I am stuck on the tavern doors title screen that says Hearthstone and the blue gem just pulsates with nothing ever happening. I have tried to change my Blizzard password, uninstall, reboot, reinstall and this has not fixed the issue.

Any fix or update would be appreciated.

I posted a thread but i don’t think any mods looked at it. Im on a Fire HD8 and stuck in some loop of being told i need to download an update but the appstore having no update…

Interesting. I thought this was resolved.

My wife wasn’t able to connect back in July, until around the middle of September. I was more lucky with using the APN back in June or July, but it didn’t work for her back then… Then worked without a problem at some point on its own. :man_shrugging:t2:

Then again, her quests are bugged the heck out now… goodness what a mess.

I’m getting pretty annoyed, I can only play on my T-mobile Note 9, on wifi, or I have to switch to 2g ( restart my phone ).
My kindle fire HD10 ( 7th generation )
Fire OS 5.6.7.0 ( 657612520 )
Wasn’t working for a bit, ( a few weeks ) then started working, but lagging out after a few games, I’d just restart and it would be fine.
Yesterday it started crashing, and I would have to load it a few times, it would work.
Today, no matter what I try, it gets to the loading screen, displays " Hearthstone " and stops.
I have tried switching through 3 different wifi connections, I’ve enabled a vpn, etc, and still get frozen.
I’ve downloaded, installed, uninstalled ( both Google Play, and Amazon )

The first time it stopped working for me was right after a Blizzard patch, nothing changed on my device, or wifi.

I pull 100Mbps down, consistently, and 80Mbps up ( consistently ).

I have 14 gig of space left on my tablet ( with Hearthstone installed ).
