I’ve just returned from a long break [about 5 years] and found myself totally frustrated about a few changes.
Standard vs Wild vs Classic. I like to play all the three ranked ladders.
However, some cards are completely messed up. I don’t understand it.
King Krush is the same card in all the modes. I used to have it in Standard back when Classic didn’t exist. Why did I have to make it again for the Classic mode?
Zola the Gorgon. It’s free now. Why wasn’t I refunded the dust I spent creating it? This is so messed up.
Some cards are disenchantable in Classic but not in Standard. Case in point: Tirion Fordring is an uncraftable card in Standard, but not in Classic. If I dust in Classic, will it be gone from the Standard set? This is EXTREMELY CONFUSING.
Please help me have a better understanding. And how did you allow this to happen?
That just proves they really haven’t thought thru all the details.
Unfortunately, after doing my research and playing the game, my frustration has multiplied.
From https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Core:
" Core cards can be used in [Standard] and [Wild format], although you may still only have the normal number of copies of any given card in your deck (two for most [rarities], one for legendaries)"
That’s simply not true.
I have THREE copies of King Krush:
King Krush Standard [core, uncraftable] - which I crafted many years ago.
King Krush Classic - which I had to craft AGAIN, after coming back from the break, despite already owning the standard version.
King Krush Golden Standard [core, uncraftable] - reward for 500 Hunter wins.
This is so retarded.
Blizzard has becomes SO greedy for forcing us to craft classic cards once again, while at the same time, robbing us of an opportunity to disenchant core cards.

Yeah, yeah, reading skills again.
Truly?

You’re exceptional if you somehow managed to craft the uncraftable.
Only you or the server should know what happened to it. You could have never had it in the first place, discenchanted it or whatever.
That’s an interesting viewpoint. Someone loans you something, in this case — cards, for free. You yell at them: ‘You ROBBED me of the opportunity to keep, sell or disenchant it! I’m FRUSTRATED! Ridiculous!’
