So an average game of bg’s takes 20-30 min. and if you place 5th or less you just wasted your time to get 0 xp?
The fact that being able to get 4 instead of 2 heroes makes it ptw whether they believe so or not. Some of the changes are going to encourage more ftp players to quit giving the wales less to play against.
Why not just add the bg track under the normal rewards track and make it 3 tiers?

No. They do work for a 62 Billion dollar company, thought. If you think they’re a starving indie company… well… good news for you, then.
And if you think these decisions came from the dev team, someone should tell you they’re there to develop the game, not the monetization side.

Making 4 hero choices a paid feature makes the game pay 2 win, no matter what you argue about balance. People who don’t care about mmr will just concede and restart until they get choices they like, diminishing the experience for those who stay.
Furthermore, not even warning those who saved their gold for perks that gold is useless for BGs all of the sudden is extremely shady.

Because of this I will probably not play BG’s anymore. Not giving XP for the main rewards track is a big turn off because I mainly play constructed. Putting a paywall on something that you used to be able to get with gold is just insulting to the players. They are really trying to squeeze every penny out of the playerbase now. Don’t give in to this monetization garbage.
