I don’t want to have to look through all (At the time of posting) 142 replies here, but is there anyone in this thread that at least understands that Battlegrounds couldn’t keep going the way it was as a resource and money sink for them?

Blizzard doing blizzard things. Terrible decision making. Looks like I’ll be uninstalling hearthstone and playing TFT since riot at least knows how to keep a game f2p.

Mega bundle is 80 bucks.
Perks cost 2k gold. On their own admition, 100g = 1 dollar. So the mega bundle should be 60 bucks, with the removal of perks. Recheck your math, as it’s way off base.

in know it isnt the BG battlepass so what is it?
Implementing a new currency to obfuscate how much you are spending, or create outstanding balances (in their favor) isn’t required to make a profit.

Totally agree, but the way they monitized it was to make the entire HS economy predatory.
Runestones make BG flat pay to win with how imba heroes are.
Is what they did, not monitize bg.

Agreed. But removing gold option from battlegrounds is specifically screwing those players over. Imagine if packs were only able to be purchased with rune stones.

The changes are to delink money and purchases as a way to make people more likley to spend the non-money.

On a side note. let us not be mad at HS yet. we haven;lt yet seen the Notes yet. there may be other fun stuff in the 24.2 patch that could take ur mind off of the new battlegrounds system
