I just read the article again and you are right. The quests will be ok. I noticed that they said that we will gain some reward track xp from battlegrounds which probably means that it is going to be less than before. If it was going to be the same amount of xp, they would have specified it. Thank you for pointing these things out!
if everyone deletes HS because of this patch, shame on them. but nothing will make me delete HS forever, unless if HS2 is released…

Dude, I admire your love of HS and your optimism, and knowing your conditions explains a little of it all.
The fact is no one gives one fifth of a f- about the new minions or other bells and whistles that blizz. is adding; the most glaring issue is also the most disgustingly pervasive scum marketing tactic that’s ever been included in video games. FROM a company who used to genuinely care about their communities and their polish.
Now you’re literally getting super anime sparkle gacha. It’s a kick in the teeth to fans; you’re adding some sprinkles on top of a dog turd and telling me it’s delicious.

Greedy companies are usually trying to be more subtle than this when adding pay to win options.
But what I am really curious is their actual goal they will “back down” to, after all the rage current news cause. Which will be also bad, but not as bad as what has been just anounced, so in comparison, it will look good.

All players will still continue to get their normal daily and weekly progression Quests that progress the Hearthstone Rewards Track. Hearthstone daily and weekly Quests will still be able to be completed in Battlegrounds as before, but the Battlegrounds-only weekly Quests will be removed from the general Quest pools and moved over to Battlegrounds Missions pool.
That says nothing about reward XP. It says you can complete quests in the mode (win 3 games, play 50 battle cry, use HP x times, etc.) but it does not state that you will get xp for the HS reward track.
In addition to its own seasonal rewards track, Battlegrounds will be getting its own special Battlegrounds XP system. Earning Battlegrounds XP will progress you along the Battlegrounds Track towards free and premium rewards. You’ll automatically earn Battlegrounds XP for every Battlegrounds game you win, similar to how you earn XP on the Hearthstone Rewards Track now.
Taken with that statement, they may have separated it completely standard XP track.
even take p2w argument aside. remember how they removed bg perks from mega bundle? they just created whole battle pass from that and did not lower the cost of mega bundle.

If you believe in rights in general then yeah, you have the right in a public forum to speak your mind.
The majority also has the same right and they disagree with you; it doesn’t diminish where you stand but it also shows a general consensus.
Nope, just plain old dog poop. The sprinkles are some top shelf fancy organic stuff but the poop isn’t even warm these days; it’s started to slowly turn white and kinda chalky.

Soooo why not lower the price of mega bundle by that?
And I have no problems with his issues. But when I fundamentally disagree with his stance, I’ll also voice my stance. This works both ways. They’ve stated they wont be silenced, and I agree with that. No one ever should. But they should understand that the right not to be silenced is universal. Stating a list of mental issues do not give you a free pass from being questioned on your opinions. Even more so when they proven they really didnt read the announcement fully.

that would be fair fare. a cheaper mega bundle with one less thing in it. it be like 10-15% off the normal price now with the perks gone.

It seems like playing battlegrounds will grant both kinds of XP but it is unclear how much the traditional XP is going to be.
