I am absolutely serious, there is no gold in this game at all, there gold in other projects, so I wonder if there is a specific project or any game of blizzard in mind?
Part of what made Hearthstone great is that anything gameplay related has been earnable.
Taking that away is just a massive blow to one of the pillars the community has been built around for years.

I CAME BACK AFTER FIVE YEAR!! I heard about the battle pass and the wild deck pack, standard pack, and that there new ways to play the game that add a breath of fresh air. I bought one pass. I finish the season. I wont play battlegrounds. I hope hearthstone dies and the 200 or so dollars spent on this game finally sinks down the toilet and we all forget it like heroes of the storm.
Hearthstone a completely different game, they have different development teams, different meaning of the game and different rewards.Even the award ribbons are different, there is no need to link these games, they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in everything.
I see 1 app icon on my phone, 1 game tile in my battle.net launcher.
I know you are trolling to get a rise out of people, but the fact is changing something that has been earnable to something you can now only obtain by purchasing is the wrong move in every book, in every game.

w/e guess it’s time to farm GOLD on WoW to pay for Season Pass 4x heroes that should be free.
The game was in test mode and everything was free.Now it was left in the old badge so that people of their Hearthstone could get experience on the awards ribbon.It is very convenient for those who play 2 different games that the time spent in both games is combined. But it is possible to separate these games over time, they have a different developer, different mechanics, different meaning.You can keep them together only for the sake of us, the players who appreciate it and pay for it.
They can afford to give 4x heroes out for gold (or another currency earned through play alone).
Nothing should be pay to win, which is what that is.

it would be most convenient for me to pay gold from diablo, it’s the same gold as in wow, but I’ve played diablo more and I have a lot of gold.I would really like that, but I don’t understand how much money the team working on the project will be supported with?

Now it sounds like Diablo immortal marketing team was promoted after the launch success, and they try to reproduce or at least to see how they can apply same kind of model to hearthstone.
This is clearly called a REGRESSION for your customer.

Finally went pay to play Blizz? I’ve been playing Hearthstone since it launched . Has always been fun, even through the ups and downs of all the imbalances over the years. Thanks for the memories, with pay to play, the good times are now in the past. I’m out.

Hrm yeah nope 1 less game to play, I guess TFT will be getting a lot of new players going forward lets thank blizzard to giving us the opportunity to try other games like TFT/Final Fantasy/Path of Exile.

I think Blizzard you wanna earn money, because you are a profit company, but making us to pay for four heros choosing? sorry i am leaving! if you are releasing a season pass for Battlegrounds to pay, and we can earn skins or background or sounds or attact effect. This is something all player will acept and definitly something we gonna pay for. but pay to win or pay to choose four heros? You seriously broke our heart. I play Blizzard game for about twenty years, and sorry, I am finally leaving.
Not cool. The addition of another currency is a REALLY bad move. I’m kinda sad the Hearthstone development team added this. Feels just like a move to mitigate gambling laws (in some countries) and to make the flow of cash more confusing for customers (so they don’t see how much they spent).

Ok, I understand that Blizzard had to draw some money from battlegrounds because it was pretty much “too free”… I don’t like this “pay-to-win” 4 hero choices idea, and I’m not going to pay for it out of spite…
But I don’t understand this… Please explain it to me like I’m a 5-year-old…
Why do I have to WORK AND PAY for the battleground season rewards? 3 out of 4 are locked behind the Season Pass.
If I need to pay for the season pass in order to use them, why do I need to work to get them as well?
It’s like going to a store, paying for a chocolate bar, then having to mop the floors, or do some other chores for them, in order for them to give you that chocolate bar.

You guys need to understand… a “reward” is not a reward if you have to pay for it.

Do you truly understand how much we all loathe you. It’s like you give us a brand new teddy bear we love, and every 3-4 months you come around and wipe your @ss with it, but we keep holding it because yeah maybe it’s poopy but it’s still mostly a good bear. Years later I’m still holding onto what can only be described as a pile of poop and I’m just done

I only play battlegrounds and invite friends to play at home almost every week. Cosmetics are cool and we love to use them but forcing people to buy for 4 heroes? Its already impossible to play the game without 1 quitter, now it will be 3 ~4 quitters…rip f2p… at least let us buy or aquire this benefit from the free pass…but we know that you don’t listen to players anymore…so we problably gonna quit
