Highlights & Info

  • :fire: [Battlegrounds] Cosmic Reward has been temporarily disabled. Please keep an eye on the “Battlegrounds Bans” drop-down menu.

  • [Arena] Escape The Underfel is now banned in Arena (both The Arena and The Underground); if you have this card in your deck, you will need to manually retire it - the ticket cost will be refunded when doing so.

  • [Collection] Signature variants of the Quest spell cards show the Golden version in the preview. This is not a bug but an intentional decision to support the readability on screen during the quest preview. We plan to introduce a new, improved, UI for quest previews in a future patch.

  • [Arena] Imbue cards are not available in the current season. This is not a bug.

  • [Hearthstone] All You Can Eat is off its diet, sometimes eating minions of the same minion type.
  • [Battlegrounds] We’ve received reports that it is not possible inviting friends to Duos, adding them, or spectating them. This is being investigated.
  • [Battlegrounds] Gilnean War Horn and Ghastly Mask can offer incorrect cards.
  • [Battlegrounds] Tripling Lantern Lava won’t reset its effect.
  • [Hearthstone] Handbuffed Dormant minions fail to progress The Food Chain Quest.
  • [Wild] Ending the turn before Mutanus the Devourer’s Battlecry fully completes causes its stats to not update visually if Dive the Golakka Depths is in play
  • [Collection] Some players didn’t receive the Diamond Fyrakk, the Blazing from Golden Into the Emerald Dream Mini-Set.
  • [Collection] Editing any deck for the first time after opening the Collection causes decktiles for most Signature cards to break.
  • [Collection] Mythic, Diamond, and Legendary Hero Skins’s shadow overlaps the highlight around the Hero Portrait.
  • [Hearthstone] Signature cards display artifacts in players’ deck preview.
Resolved Issues
  • [Hearthstone] Opu the Unseen doesn’t work properly after casting Lucky Comet.
  • [Arena - Crowd’s Favor] The reward string is listing an incorrect gold amount in non-enUS locales. The correct message is “Starting at 6 wins, you have a chance to earn the Crowd’s Favor-an extra 1000 Gold! Your chance to win over the crowd grows with each victory!” - the correction will be implemented in a future patch.
  • [Battlegrounds] Persistent Poet does not keep enchantments obtained from Bronze Steward after combat phase.
  • [Hearthstone] City Chief Esho’s Battlecry fails to affect Draenei minion
  • [Wild] Kabal Talonpriest’s Battlecry can lose functionality when it has the Living Nightmare Dark Gift.
  • [Shop] The “Back” button of the shop might lose functionality after a Darkmoon Faire Treasures pull, requiring a game restart.
  • [Hearthstone] Classic card back is shown as the reward for the August 2025 Season.
  • [Workaround] [Packs] Some older packs can’t be opened on mobile devices. While we’re working on a fix, please use a PC or a tablet to open them.
  • [Hearthstone] Deathrattle given by Amphibian’s Spirit lacks functionality when copied.
  • [Hearthstone] Drawing a"Summoned When Drawn" card with All You Can Eat could cause less cards to be drawn.
  • [Hearthstone] Game crashes when receiving the “It’s a Legendary Card!” pop-up.
  • [Battlegrounds] Silky Shimmermoth lacks interaction with Bristlebach Portrait.
  • [Battlegrounds] Toxic Stinger can give Venomous to minions with Poisonous.
  • [Hearthstone] Hamuul Runetotem can stack with himself.
  • [Hearthstone] Spirit of the Mountain has different tracking for the player and the opponent.
  • [Hearthstone] Sharp-Eyed Lookout is not usable.
  • [Battlegrounds] Sea Witch Zar’jira does not provide a Spellcraft when Goldenized by Captain Sanders.
  • [Collection] Sharp-Eyed Lookout can appear locked in Collection menu.
  • [Hearthstone] Wilted Shadow fails to attack the healed target if it temporarily falls to 0 health.
  • [Hearthstone] Nightmare Lord Xavius - Dark Gift effect doesn’t apply to Summoned When Drawn card (example: Tortollan Ninjas from Interrogation)
  • [UPDATE] [Arena] Arena button is unresponsive for some returning players. This is our main thread for this specific issue. We’re working on “Screenshot #2”. We’re finalizing a hotfix and we’re tentatively targeting tomorrow for its release (Friday, July 11).
  • [UPDATE] [Shop Closed and/or Shop & Menu Buttons Disabled] We’re aware of the in-game shop being closed in some countries. We’re working on it.   • [Shop - Update] We’ve individuated a number of players that didn’t get their Blob of Tar; we’re working to have it delivered.
    → Blob of Tar has been delivered.
  • [Arena - UPDATED] We’ve received reports that The Lost City of Un’Goro cards are not available in draft; we’ve individuated the cause of the issue and are planning to address it with an emergency hotfix. We’re tentatively targeting the 2nd of July for its implementation.
    → Imlemented.
  • [Arena - Rewards] We’re investigating reports concerning the Arena rewards that weren’t delivered to some players. [UPDATE] Not a bug - if a run was in progress while the reward system changed, the rewards provided will be based on the system that was in place when the run was started. We’ve also seen reports of Golden Packs not being delivered in some 12-wins runs; the cases reviewed didn’t highlight any inconsistencies - the first run grants the Spectral Ner’zhul Hearthstone Hero Skin, while the subsequent 12-wins run grant Golden Packs.
  • [Unable to Access Arena - Empty Menu] The issue has been resolved (more info here).
Old Highlights
  • [Shop - Return to Wild Bundles] Players that purchased the bundles before the product description was updated have been granted Arcane Dust based on the bundle purchased.
  • [Wild] Cho’gall, Twilight Chieftain is now unbanned.
  • [Collection - Return To Wild Bundles] Players that purchased Return to Wild bundles before the product description was updated have been granted Arcane Dust based on the bundle. We’re aware that some accounts have received it on the wrong region and are working on correcting this.
    → This should now be corrected.
  • We’ve granted 15 Battlegrounds Hero Reroll Tokens to players that were affected by stability issues at the beginning of June, which resulted in them losing their own Tokens during their games.
  • [RESOLVED - Hearthstone/Battlegrounds Access] We’re aware of multiple issues impacting access to game modes (Hearthstone and Battlegrounds)
    → :white_check_mark: Hotfix implemented in all regions. We’re closely monitoring the situation.
  • :fire: Hotfix Patch 33.0.2 notes are available here.
  • Cards that were previously banned in the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl are now unbanned.
  • :white_check_mark: [Progression - Choose Your Champion] Players should start seeing their Goldpetal Drake Signature cards after restarting their games.

There is also a problem with the Shop not working on EU, both on PC and mobile

My wife and I are both down following the update. We can launch the app without issue, although the main screen doesn’t have the traditional game mode option as an available choice.

We actually prefer Battlegrounds, but there are issues there as well. We can form a team and enter the Battlegrounds main screen but none of the buttons function at all. You can click play, back, etc and nothing happens.

We are currently unable to play as a result

My “Hearthstone” button is not clickable as well as my shop button is not letting me into the shop. Others are having the same issues according to “X” and Reddit.

I can enter the battleground menu area, but the play button doesn’t work on my PC version.

Will missing diamond cards be fixed in an upcoming hotfix? It’s been close to 3 weeks and I still don’t see the card in my collection manager. Support said that it’s in my collection but there seems to be a bug that prevents me from seeing it.

Arena (Underground mode) I’m on my 2nd run and new cards are not draftable, only discoverable.

Challenging a friend causes their game to crash (not yours).

Game crashed while playing Tier 7 anomaly in Battlegrounds Duos, It says we won the game but did not give us any MMr

Blizzard! Can we get an update? Maybe a banner on battle.net letting players know “Hey, some players are having issues accessing Hearthstone! Don’t worry we’re on it!”
Blizzard used to give us updates
 sometimes hourly! I guess that’s what happens once you get absorbed by a huge corporation in America!

It also appears to be affecting long time players over newer players. To me as a systems analyst I’d guess database migration for legacy accounts. Regardless of the issue, why would you leave this many of your players hanging and not roll back the patch until it can be fixed off-line? This is clearly a significant issue and it feels like you guys are ignoring it. Maybe you should stop adding features that cost tickets or tokens until you can maintain this game. It’s sadly getting ridiculous at this point with how often issues are happening and how little is being done, especially how long it is taking for them to be resolved.

Same issue, Hearthstone grayed out, no shop, going into Battlegrounds and only the ‘Season Reward’ and changing mode buttons work. Everything else has the ‘click’ animation/sound, but does nothing (including the ‘Back’ button).

Update: Can change to EU server and actually get into games
 not ideal, but looks to be US servers specific.

I would like to report a potential bug regarding the friendly match feature. I was trying to complete the friendly challenge quest today. According to my friend on the other side, the challenge request would cause his game to crash. We tried to close and relaunched the client multiple times but was unable to resolve it.
