I actually do still play priest, I just instaconcede against warlocks because I donāt care about playing games where I have a 10% chance to win. Mirror priest matches are just as bad as well, regardless of winrate. If it gets to a point where warlocks are too prevalent, then Iāll just pick a face deck and go with it - even if it means losing to all other classes but farming warlocks.

This patch seems to have reset May for me. Yesterday I played and I won the five games to get the May backing. Today when I logged in after the latest update, it said I needed to win five games to get the May backingā¦ WHAT?
Did they even fix the deck sharing issue? Because I donāt see it in the patch notes.
In my opinion, a better nerf to FDoS would have been 0 mana, choose one of three 1 mana minions to draw.
Hardly, this does nothing to stop the explosive buffing spree of late game QB.
Honestly, they need to change Sorcererās Apprentice text to be something like āThe first five spells you cast on your turn cost one less.ā Thatās the real issue. Like you said, the Refreshing Spring Water nerf does almost nothing. Now itās 1-mana draw two cards instead of 0-mana draw two cards. The problem with mage is that theyāre casting spell after spell even after the rope has finished because they have way too many cheap discovery and draw spells. Nerfing just one of those draw spells does nothing.
I played casino mage for several weeks last month. Iām well aware of how broken the card is. Pretty much anyone whose played on the ladder last month knows how broken it is. Arcane intellect, one of the staple mage cards, is three mana draw two. Spring water was zero mana draw two. With the nerf, itās one mana draw two. Making it a turn five play instead of a turn four play does nothing. It just means that you play your Deck of Lunacy on turn four first before drawing two cards with one mana on turn five. To really nerf it, they need to restore the original cost make it refresh one mana crystal instead of two for every spell drawn. A two mana draw two card is still very playable.
Hopefully the mini set has something to support the archetype. Iām a druid main and have had success with clown druid, around 58% WR at Diamond ranks, but it definitely gets blown out as you describe 42% of the time in my hands, and probably even more in less experienced hands.

I still donāt understand why everyone was so fixated on crabrider nerfs.
Crabrider in on itself is a bad card that literally dies to a classic river crocolisk.
The issue has always been Paladin buffs on it (Hand of Aādal/Double conviction etc) so why these werenāt nerfed instead, Blizzard?
Really feels like Crabrider is just a classic scapegoat burning on a pile like itās the source of all evil. In reality this nerf is gonna hurt rush Warrior more than it hurts Paladin and Warrior certainly did not need a nerf while Paladin does.
Blizzard, you really fail to make any kind of sense.
Golden Bonker is now the same card as regular Bonker, but in golden an double stats, so you donāt need to look for the triple cause the stats can grow to the same amount of stats. Why not drop this minion from battlegrounds then?

What was the idea behind making the Mandrakeās wife a 3/10 to begin with? Even at 3/7, itās free and hits for 3 itās extremely OP. Itās like Blizz wants every game to be a complete RNG fest. The idea seems okay, but pulling out a 3/10 on turn 4 was pretty much an auto win. Make it a 3/1. Seems more in line with the idea of suddenly taking a few points of damage from it like a sudden ambushā¦not that plus leave a tank behind.
Pretty lackluster nerfs and buffs. Good Job Blizzā¦I mean Activision.

Incanters flow not getting nerfed is a complete mystery to me, but the other nerfs look pretty good and well have to see how well spell mage goes with 5 mana spring water. The buffs however, are atrocious, 5 mana deck of chaos does probably nothing, and its hard to imagine anyone putting three mana fiendish circle into their deck.
Looking forward to eating my own words, but shaman players must have steam coming out of their ears.
