I can understand retiring Brewmaster with how hard he multiplies a lot of strong battlecries (and RIP to Rogue finally losing Shadowstep) but I wish youād put out Dirty Rat at the same time, Brew was the only chance for most of us to get our important cries back into our hand if they got yanked (Pity Rafaam)

Not the end of the world for those rogue snowflakes, itās about time, all classes have lost important cards in their history and have survived and reinvented.
im glad that Major Noggenfoger is on the list, prepare to receive infinite attack hammers to the face.
but where are mutanus, theotar and loatheb?

Shadowstep is a big surprise. This card always felt so immune against changes.
Iām looking forward to the new meta since the sets that rotate out contain so many dominant cards. Now Iām even more excited.
Also there is no new 0-mana minion in the core set which is unusual.

Roguestep ā yes, yes, yes, good riddance! Come to think of it, though, the joy is somewhat short-lived, though, since another persistent atrocity called Preparation (aka āYour Shaladrassils permanently cost 0 this gameā) is still there. But anyway, still good. Iāll post this here again, also about Tess:

New cards look interesting, for example, DH is getting at least something instead of that joke card in terms of legendariesā¦
Emphasis on āRNGā and Gnomeferatu ā less cool, but I suppose they couldnāt have done without it.

Yes, that too ā among some of the more obnoxious āstaplesā mentioned before. Youāve got a point here, thatās a good one to celebrate.
Now, to continue with some themes mentioned aboveā¦
Since nobody has mentioned it here yet, perhaps I shall. Obviously, itās also been a cheap ā literally so ā way to activate Elise, so it might be their way of addressing it. Of course, Rogues or Druids still have got 0-cost cards, also Priests, Shamans and Warlocks, but DKs lose that horn!
Of course, Calia Menethil also looks particularly interesting ā and so priestly, for once, tooā¦ Well, more or less all of them are in some way.
What elseā¦ Twisting Nether ā hello againā¦ More ācontrolā Warlock for the class thatās been struggling with it?
PS Also nearly forgot to mention The Soularium: bye-bye again, Quest Warlock?
Not sure Warriorās happy with what the class is getting instead of its āstaplesā, and nor am I: gotta say, the old ones were kinda āiconicā without being annoying, while the new set (a little bit of this and thatā¦ taunts, pirates and whatnot) isā¦ a bit āmehā. Well, maybe some change is refreshing, though ā at least, thereās that.
