Well the people that complained about it finally get their wish, and we all know what i am talking about here.

probably my favorite core set card ever is being taken out.

Roguestone fanboi with a main-character syndrome detected, the latter — due to the irresistible urge to ignore the ‘official’ thread and start one’s own.

Roguestep — yes, yes, yes, good riddance! Come to think of it, though, the joy is somewhat short-lived, though, since another persistent atrocity called Preparation (aka “Your Shaladrassils permanently cost 0 this game”) is still there. But anyway, still good. I’ll post this here again, also about Tess:

Number one, immediately: rotate cards like Shadowstep, Preparation etc, which have been ‘broken’ and plagued the game since at least 2014 ( or perhaps even 2013, dunno).

Man, even Ice Block in Standard (yes, I’m not kidding) would have been less problematic than this.

Moreover, 10+ years of Roguestone in general have been more than enough. The current Core set has Tess, who can single-handedly win games if discovered by some other class (e.g. by Marin), had it happen with Taunt Warrior, but isn’t even good enough for trendy Rogue decks at the moment — which speaks sufficiently about the class, I think… Imagine what would have happened if other classes had stuff like Shudderwock, Ilgynoth (or however you spell it) in Core? Maybe even some Colossals, Titans or whatnot? They’d literally wail about it, yet for the Rogue class, such weak stuff isn’t even good enough.

Ooh, poor Roug fanboiz, they can’t imagine their life — and their self-image of Skillstone, apparently — without cards broken like Astalor on turn 1, even though they still have got some of the aforementioned ‘OP’ stuff and, come to think of it, they’ve still got stuff like Web of Deception.

Rogues getting the most OP stuff as always, and Rogue mains, as I would assume, crying as usual.

PS Stuff like those Best Deals Anywhere is generally considered barely playable by those Roguestone fanboiz, and they think such cards very ‘skill-intensive’ (the image depicts a clown hat, or a Very High Skill Cap ™ )— yeah, APM, mon, not for ‘boomers’ or devices with slow animations!
