  • Mechanic switched from Blood skills to Life lost
  • Blood pact : Trade Life for defense, damage, cooldown
  • Big risks. Big rewards. You are always on the verge of death
  • Shi Mizu’s Haori is a great item synergy to get 100% Critical Hit Chance under 25% Life
  • Corpse Lance / Blood Lance or Corpse Explosion / Final Embrace are great active skill synergies to drain Life (2% Life per Lance or Corpse)
  • Rathma’s Shield is a great passive skill synergy to avoid premature death (w max cooldown)
  • 7 pieces Set + Ring of Royal Grandeur means you can mix Trag’Oul’s Avatar 6p bonus w one 3p bonus (Pestilence, Aughild’s Authority, Demon’s Hide, Captain Crimson’s Trim, Blackthorne)
  • 4p Damage increase + Ring of Royal Grandeur means you can mix Trag’Oul’s Avatar 4p bonus w lots of microsets, at the cost of losing cooldown bonus (Skeletons, Revive, Thorns do not need cooldown)
  • 2p Defense increase means great defense for zNecro builds
  • 6p is excellent at buffing cooldown builds (Blood Rush, Command Golem, Bone Armor / Limited Immunity, Land of the Dead, Simulacrum, Bone Spirit Army, of the Dead)

Examples with 4p bonus

  • 80% Life = 1500% damage increase and 40% defense increase
  • 50% Life = 3750% damage increase and 100% defense increase
  • 20% Life = 6000% damage increase and 160% defense increase
  • 0% Life = 7500% damage increase and 200% defense increase
  • 0% Life = 9750% damage increase and 300% defense increase (with Aughild’s Authority)

Life regen considerations

  • With 6 Pieces, your Life is drained in 100 / 3 = 33 seconds.
  • Plenty of regen Life options (between 2 cooldowns) against long fights like Rift Guardians :
    • Land of the Dead + Devour / Cannibalize
    • Bone Armor / Thy Flesh Sustain + Siphon Blood / Drain Life
    • Molten Wildebeest’s Gizzard + Invigorating Gemstone
  • Improve Simulacrum / Blood Debt : Life costs for skills and Life drains for items are reduced by 75% while Simulacrum is active
