all that really matters is how many people you offend. blizzard can overturn an automated punishment but they only do so if it was clearly in the wrong. if you really did piss a lot of people off it will usually stand

I think some people underestimate the effect that even the small things one looks forward to have when it comes to depression. Of course they don’t cure it, but they can help. When things are as…severe as they apparently were with Rektful though, it probably isn’t enough, and so tragedies can sadly occur.

I said I was done with this but let’s have some fun. It is x-mas day and I say in trade “Merry Christmas”, should I be silenced just because some people reported me? I mean really? It shouldn’t matter how many people report you, what should matter is what you actually said.

So? If it is that big of an ideological mismatch for them, they can stop giving Blizzard their money and do something else with their time.
Or, they can stop irritating other players so much that they get silenced.
Yup, it’s Blizzard basically letting the community police itself in a way. It could be better but I guess it allows them to wash their hands and distance themselves if something arises.

im not a huge fan of automated punishments, just letting you know how it works
you can be silenced for literally anything if people report it, just how it is. if lots of people report you for no good reason it can be over turned, a human at blizzard ultimately makes a judgement call there. they tend to stick with the system though

Shadowlands is the place where the dead go.I even had to be very careful with my words there to not to offend those at the cathedral took me 1hr to figure out what to say.It’s not easy for me to project emotion is a situation like that.
