You can get silenced for anything now!

^^^ This. I mean right now I can be flagged into oblivion, its entirely on the people who are doing it, but the system can’t differentiate the circumstances until someone gets involved. Sorry to hear though OP but people are people.
Also in regards to the flagging into oblivion…wait for it

waiiit for it. :eyes:

Except, that is not what he said. Instead if it was you inferred he meant. This is an example of exactly what wrong with people today. Instead of listening to what was said, you try and twist it into some narrative that you can be offended by.

What, your first instinct when when someone kills themself isn’t to bemoan that they couldn’t play the next expac in the middle of group of people mourning their passing? You don’t inadvertently reduce them to nothing more but someone who played a video game instead of grieving for the tragic loss of life and then complain online when people find it insensitive?

Yeah. This is probably why they were silenced. I don’t think their intent was to offend anyone, but it might have come across as insensitive at the time.

There a several ways that statement could be offensive in consideration of what it may have been in response to. You are simply being obstinate to support your narrative of this person having been silenced for no good reason. He offended people. Maybe next time, don’t.

You do know what the person actually says is like 5% of communication right?

Words are literally the least important part.

and you can’t figure out why that was inappropriate, disrespectful and worthy of a silence?

yea. you’re just trolling.

I am sorry, did you see a micro expression I missed? I mean did he do a little gig while saying it? Straws my friend, you are grasping at straws with that argument. The OP was merely pointing that it would have been nice if he could have experienced the upcoming expansion in a game he clearly loved. That is all, people need to stop making it out to be more than it actually was.

Thats why i play pretty much solo 24/7 too many issues, though i really miss grouping with people, but after several bad experiences its like cant trust anyone more than 40 ft apart.

Yes exactly! he recently did come back to wow and with shadowlands around the corner Im sure he would of loved it and not made that terrible choice. He loved WoW alot.

I basically don’t communicate using in game channels if I can help it. It is always over discord and with people I know. Then I don’t need to worry about someone being offended by what they thought I meant.

A guild or group of friends can affectively shut down anyone at any given time. And people on here all “oh well just play nice” hunty people are not nice. lol

You know, talking about actions taken on accounts is also against the ToU, and you’re clearly breaking that. So I’m having my doubts as to the validity of your story.

I think this is incredibly fair. I honestly believe the sincerity in saying something to the affect of “Its tragic Reckful will never be able to see the further development and one day conclusion of a game he was so passionate about” but I also appreciate how some people might find that distasteful to perhaps view it as a simplification, for lack of better phrasing, of someones legacy.

So why don’t you tell us what you actually said?

You’re being extremely obtuse for no reason dude. It’s not such a stretch of the imagination.

Just because you might think it’s not offensive doesn’t mean the people that were there agree with you.

If they thought it was offensive, they can report it. That’s what the system is there for.

Op,I know you were trying to be sincere ,yet some people may have thought you said something else and misinterpret the meaning. But it shouldn’t have placed against you.

Rekful suffered from depression. He played wow for 12+ years. He even said on 1 of his streams that the game has helped him with his depression.
