Just pointing out that H+ is a different dynamic than other dungeons. How it would play out in wrath classic I don’t know.

You should catch up on the discussion .
You are suggesting splitting up the player pool for heroic +. That’s not a fix, that’s catering to one side, and blatantly causing further grouping issues .

Again . Can you tell me why you’d ever want to randomize heroic + ? The whole point is to select the dungeon that has upgrades for you, in order to raid . Not to crawl.

People generally dungeon crawl for emblems of heroism. Not for fun.

RANDOM dungeon finder means you don’t get to choose which dungeon. Sure you can queue specific… But, why would you, if would be faster to build your own group .

I did them for fun and emblems in OG. I’d love to do more dungeons in Classic, but getting groups together is such a pain I don’t bother most of the time.

This is definitely a problem, I did a lot more dungeons in OG Wrath even when I out geared them.

Now there’s H+ dailies that are just annoying to do and because the LFG Tool sucks it’s actually annoying to try to form a regular group. RDF would definitely solve that since I could easily just do a regular heroic.

I’d wager there aren’t many people willing to deal with the affixes in heroic + ‘for fun’. And emblems of Valor are pretty well useless.

I still wanna know why you’d want to randomize which heroic + you entered .
Queueing into a heroic + that has zero worth for your character, is an utter waste of time and effort .

You can choose specific, but at that point, building your own group with the current LFG tool would likely be faster .

Regular heroics drop valor now and there’s still value in converting them to heroism for a fresh 80.

I’m not decrying RDF for regular heroics, normals, and leveling dungeons .

Nah regular heroics still drop heroism. I know because I bought one heirloom, by painstakingly building my reg heroics with empty LFG .

Did you even play in OG when RDF came out? I did. I did a few raids, but wasn’t in a raiding guild. Queuing heroics was my main end game activity. It took a while, but with badges I’d eventually get upgrades. I would also queue with 1 or 2 friends when they were available.

We aren’t talking about heroics . We are talking about heroic+.

Should be valor for everything now, the only thing dropping heroism are ICC and SP quests, even the regular dungeon daily drops valor now.

Nah heroic regs still drop heroism . Heroic + and phase 1 raids drop valor . Ulduar is conquest .

The player base is advanced enough to handle H+ in RDF. I survived pre-nerf Cata heroics in RDF. I think I can handle H+. All Blizzard needs to do is require a high enough ilvl to queue.

I stand corrected! Even still. You wouldn’t really run heroic + for emblems, it’s the gear you are after .

Ok, this line again. The rewards for using rdf were so trivial that almost no one cared about them. But if that tiny bit of gold means so much to some people I’d have no problem if blizzard eliminated the rewards for using rdf.

We don’t have rdf and the H+ dungeons is a retail addition to wrath “classic” so we don’t know if rdf would work for them. But in one week I’d know whether rdf worked or not and if not I’d manually form groups for H+ dungeons. It really is just that simple. But I don’t care enough so if rdf was just reg or Heroic dungeons I’d be fine with that too.

But you still haven’t told me why players would want to randomize their heroic+ . When, again, the only point of heroic + is to target specific gear upgrades… Which is hard to do when you queue into an instance you don’t want or need .

But that’s the problem, T7 raids drop better gear but are ironically easier to both get into and do for people who need that gear.

The vast majority of heroic + runners are after specific gear upgrades. You can’t do that with a random queue .

It gives players who aren’t in raiding guilds something to do at level 80.
