It is a bit complicated, Coldpaws, as there is often a misunderstand of what is considered griefing or what is zone disruption and what a lot of folks actually got in trouble for.
Repeatedly killing quest givers, generally isn’t a violation of policy. If the mob can be killed, we generally do not penalize someone for killing it. There are situations in which we may intervene, but they tend to be rare and extremely conditional.

Corpse camping or otherwise participating in PvP, regardless of the level disparity, is still just PvP and we have no policies against it. If someone is flagged for PvP, in War Mode, etc… they are free game.

I know the blues have said, Blizzard defines griefing as “Doing something I don’t like”. I am Digging up the quotes right now.
This thread has a blue response about a player being camped for 4 days straight.
I am reaching Blizzard in all ways that I can. My name is Lilyberry and I am on the Deviate Delight server. I also stream at {Removed} I have been camped by a player named {Removed} for 4 days straight now. She has used my stream to find me, and also she has another account for an alliance character that she uses to find me. She has been finding me and killing me at remote places all around the game. Sometimes I log on, NOT STREAMING, and she immediately kills me in Ironforge. Note I always make…
Blue response
While we certainly appreciate that, Lilyberry, our policies regarding PvP have remained virtually unchanged since World of Warcraft was released. The behavior you described doesn’t violate policy. We’re unlikely to penalize another individual for such behavior, sorry.
I’m sorry, Lilyberry, but it isn’t. Getting camped is a viable danger on a PvP realm, it is a risk you run. If you choose to stream, that is entirely on you, we would not intervene.
The majority of “regular gamers” don’t have …
Then there is this blue repsonse.
“Griefing” in and of itself is a little complicated, Christmasday, and generally means different things to different people. I’ll focus on the act.
You may, through PvP, kill the same character repeatedly. As long as they are flagged/in Warmode, and able to be attacked, it is usually not considered a violation to do so.
If there is some kind of bug or exploit that allows you to abuse a system, that might be something else entirely. I’d limit how often you “test” a possible bug so it does not…
