Why do casuals care?

9.1 " WE HEAR YOU pls come back "

Right but then you stop. You killed it 3 months and… now what? Instead of moving on to something challenging, you just do it on easy mode and then stop there. That’s not progression, that’s facerolling easy mode and then taking your ball home.

You aren’t pushing, you aren’t striving to beat something difficult. That’s what progression raiding is.

Wiping, learning, and eventually beating heroic bosses isn’t “striving”?

And enabling swapped covenants also wouldn’t allow players to do everything.

Now with improved Twitter integration!

Used to raid. Now I’m pretty casual. Just don’t have a lot of time to play.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to kill things as fast as possible. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to be peak.

Question for you: Why do YOU care about what I care about?

A reason to continue playing the game of course. There are not many players willing to give up digital art just to make progress through raids.

twotter???
nope.

Because you are wasting blizzards resource asking them to revert from their plans instead of just playing the game they give us.

If you’ve already beaten Heroic, and relatively early in the tier, then you’re certainly capable of moving past that. Heroic is not challenging to you, it isn’t something where your team ever had to optimize their play, as evidenced by beating it pretty early on.

You’re not doing content that requires you to optimize play, therefore you don’t understand why these barriers that Blizzard is adding to frustrate optimized play are a problem.

Ergo, you’re not doing progression raiding, which is why you don’t see how this is a problem.

I just want them to integrate Panda express so I can /panda in game and make a order :frowning: Is this really too much to ask for? Nomi could be taking my order, that’d be amusing.

That’s because the new dev team’s plans are frequently stupid.

See: Their ongoing War against Flying.

I don’t care either way but also believe that people whining to change covenants are being ridiculous. Very un-fun people.

We were doing progression raiding up until the point we finally got to and brought down N’Zoth. My guild is more of an easy-going casual guild, and we neither have the numbers nor the inclination to take on Mythic. It doesn’t have to be Mythic for it to count as progression raiding, that’s all I’m saying.

Yo that would be cool xD
Nomi would just add like 2 extra sides for himself as a meme.

You need to optimize play for progression raiding, you never had to do that, which is why you don’t see why obstacles to optimization are a problem.

You can satisfy your misguided “rpg fix” (which really isn’t) by not switching covenants. However, others are being denied the ability to optimize play, and have no alternatives.

To be honest I want my main 2 hunters (Alliance and Horde) to be viable as well as optimal in all the different facets of wow that I play so I am for opening the covenant class abilities.

My other made hunters should be so I can collect the various covenant armor sets for when they most likely open them up for transmog post SL

wheres the fun in tediously restricting players ? This isnt engaging choice but more of the same stuff we dealt with in the past…

You do realize that Ion and his guild were pretty much the originators of the Meta build from basically Vanilla -Wrath.

They were Method before Method was Method

Does anyone else find it amusing the people so against the RPG in the game is mostly made up by the same people that like to say this is an MMo so you should play it like one…

I mean the hypocrisy
