About the covenant system, does it really matter to you if you can swap them freely or just be stuck with one? I’d think since most my fellow casuals don’t really like to min/max than it should really be a neutral stance they take. I for one really don’t care either way, that’s the real casual mind set.
Why do you?
Bruh. Read. I. Don’t.
Some of them are just a bunch if Ralphs, they seem to have this misguided notion that if people are locked into a covenant that will somehow make people forced to take them into group content which isn’t true at all.
If they get denied now, they’ll still get denied in SL.
Some folks are spiteful, others think that everyone should play the way they do, others still think that if they’re swappable that you will HAVE to swap them. Some are afraid that if they then don’t that they will be denied to groups.
They’re going to be denied to some groups regardless of how the system is implemented though. No getting around it.
Good news is that you probably didn’t want to play with said groups anyway.
I see this.
Why are you asking?
An RPG should be built on RPG values, such as consequences for your decisions. It should not be ignored for the sake of competitive players and a calculator.
Because I can. Next question.
There are varied degrees of casuals ,some really don’t care either way they want to play, others on the line that would like to step up to raids and mythics so they do care to min/max before they even start them. Me personally, i’ll wait for the feel of the game before jumping to conclusions.
Than why ask?
Because casuals also happen to love cosmetic and rewards, imagine if the 4 zones of Legion had their cosmetics locked and you could only obtain one of theirs instead of reputation unlock. That’d suck.
The most negatively impacted players will be casuals with one or two characters who regularly play more than one role or do more than one type of content.
So this thread serves no purpose at all, other than for you to declare you don’t care.
Good job!
Because I can. Next question, again.
Really depends on the definition of a casual. There are so many. Some base it on time played. Some base it on content tackled. Some have other criteria.
Personally, I don’t care. The covenant I have will not affect my gameplay much. Others might care because they want to do high-end content, even as a casual player.
Why ask a question that you don’t care about, just because you can?
That’s the wonder of having various people play a game, they all like different things and care about different things. FOR ME it’s not hard to understand but seemingly is for others.
Dude is looking for bites, I’m out.
