I was going to write a bunch of stuff, but itâs not worth it. We have a buggy game filled with bots, resources being dedicated to buffing and nerfing classes is just dumb when there are more pressing issues that need resolving.

There are tons of things needing fixed for sure. If I get back in a vehicle for FL and it starts randomly spinning when the driver isnât again ill lose it. Makes shooting pyrite so much more annoying.
That says paladin, mang. It doesnât say ret. Moot point if you are ignoring specifics.
A spec is getting a rework, a class isnât getting a rebalance. Know the diff.

You know, thinking about the actual changes that squeaked into TBC/Wrath made me remember how poorly devs have treated Paladins in the past.
Think about it, Resil stat getting added to Ret PVP gear? That wasnât originally in the game. The reason for this is because Kalgan hated Ret paladins.
And then SoB going to Alliance? It goes to show that original purity has limits.
From my viewpoint, Blizzard is just fixing mistakes of the past.
Nah, a class that has the best tank and healing specs also needs a competitive dps spec. 
There was nothing wrong with the paladin class. This is a very Retail approach to focus on spec, in direct contradiction to what the Classic Team themselves said about this very issue 2 months ago. Completely reversed course. Amazing what some tears can do.
And yes, the game is a mess plagued with bugs and bots. And Blizz chooses to put their energy towards caving to whiners about class balance.

Amazing the class that has two game breaking specs cried their way to a 10% buff for absolutely no reason.

Well if you recall from the Blue post, they wanted us to be in line with Fury warriors at the moment, not S tier.
Which is 100% good with me.
Why would I be happy? Theyâve diverted even further from authenticity. Which is the opposite of what adding RDF would accomplish: an accurate recreation of Wrath.

Ret is going to be just fine⌠With or without this âBuffâ. The only ones upset about it donât even play Ret and probably wonât ever be affected by it.

With all due respect OP, I think this effort was a mistake. The net effect it is going to have on the community beyond Ret (which I love and main) is going to be far worse than the modest dps increase Raid-Rests will see as a result (prior to Tier x gear).

Think yall are giving yourselves a little too much credit. I also advocated for rets but Im not egocentric enough to think that had any bearing on their decision. I dont Blizz even reads these posts tbh
I hope retribution paladins get rejected now even more than before. Now they deserve it.
the blue post about not buffing rets WAS a reply to me in my last thread. (I asked plenty of other people with more notoriety among us rets to do this instead and they all said it was hopeless) But aside from my slight trolling about being responsible rest assured I agree that everyone deserves credit equally as a group. The actual idea for this change came from conversations being had in the paladin discord, youâd be surprised how much actually gets to the team.
