That’s an interesting idea. How do you think the Sethrak and Dwarves would get along? What could the Sethrak offer that the Dwarves would appreciate?

Wetlands has always been contended by “feral” orcs (dragon maw) and dark irons (could be now that group that doesn’t follow Moira) and the Sethrak could help them to fight those forces off as both would likely attack them.

This also got me thinking that a Night Elf angle could be done as well. Perhaps Sethraliss could help heal/restore Nordrassil.

I’d like that. Though Nordrassil should be fine these days.

… Omg if they rebuilt Darnassus with a built in Gilnean section AND a new Sethrak section!!! I love this.

Won’t happen because it would be a cool and fun race to play imo and Alliance don’t get those as you can tell by the allied races so far. Horde possibly could get them though.

We’ve several ideas for how they could be Alliance. Ask and ye shall be told how.

Though truly the current lore does support horde much more than alliance and you have to understand that we all know this before you start entertaining the ways they could be Alliance.

But even then it’s not that hard to imagine ways.

I am feeling defeatist though I would love to have them as our allied race but we don’t get the cool things Part of the Alliance life.

We got many cool things. Mechagnomes are amazing.
Kul’tirans are awesome. Love their druid forms.
I’ve always wanted the Dark Irons.
Void elves may have been a little outa left field but it was the first AR I got heritage armor for.
And what’s not to like about the LFD?

Sethrak are still a possibility and you have to remember they’ve had a surprising amount of work done on them.

I’ve been wanting Sethrak as a playable race since they were revealed at Blizzcon 2017 and here I am, still optimistic and hopeful. Now is as good of a time as ever to keep up interest in Sethrak. We might not see them for another year, but Blizzard has not pulled the plug on Allied Races.

Remember, they have a Heart of Azeroth animation.

I’m starting Wetlands on my Dark Iron currently. If I notice something that we could add to this, I’ll definitely post it!

Snakes are highly adaptable. They’re on all continents aside from Antarctica so I think Sethrak are likely the same.

I thought so as well. I figure they’d adapt to most places they landed. Plus the Wetlands is kinda a no mans land for the most part. The Alliance owns it but its always been contended by old horde and dark irons. It’d be nice to have a new alliance race help solidify the holdings.

Though I seriously love the idea of a rebuilt Teldrassil, Darnassus, with Gilnean and Sethrak Districts.

Oh I wont balk at the compromise. This is better than I had actually thought. I had assumed Account wide essences wouldn’t happen at all. lol

That’s what we’re hoping for!

But just playable is perfectly okay too!

We have discussed it being the remaining Faithless or a “limbo” group of Sethrak that don’t feel right rejoining The Devoted after the collapse of the Faithless Empire. Or ya know… The Devoted are fine too.

Tortollan Discussion Thread

Tortollan are a mysterious race of wisdom turtles with ancient knowledge, they value stories and knowledge above all else, we also know they were in the war of the ancients and can fight. They side with whoever offers them artifact, tales, knowledge. So they are the perfect race for pandarens to recruit to each faction. They also have been added to pandaren Holidays and celebrate the Wanderer’s festival with is a joy to pandas and turtles.

Imagine if Sethrak had a sudden split pattern like this. Such as the Diamondback pattern they have suddenly changing to the green or white coloration partially down their body.

Oh wow those look wild! I work for a publisher and we recently did a herpetology book about snake species in Texas, and the author came in and brought a bunch of his pet and rehab snakes. Not everyone in the office was thrilled about that () but I thought it was fantastic.
