Thinking about it moreā¦ I think they could actually pull it off.
That also got my thinking. Do KT and Zandalari Druids who unlock the Legion Order Hall Flight form just have the standard big giant Owl or did they get a special model there too? If they did then would the Sethrak have a big ole snakey?

Big Owl mate, because you can remove and later put it back on again after unlocking it anytime you want just like the other artefact skins.

You donāt remove it like an artifact skin it just replaces flight travel form. You can be rid of it with a glyph to change flight form. (I use the sentinel owl glyph)

I canāt swear to it because I havenāt bothered leveling another druid, but I donāt believe they got any new skin for those (and Iām sure I would have seen those in data-mining when KT and Zandas came out).

Mmm. I might look it up. Now Iām wondering which color they got. Night elves and worgen had two different colors I believe and same with tauren/trolls.
I havenāt leveled a Druid yet so I have no idea. Though since weāre still on that subject, how about a big old cobra for the tank/ābearā form for Sethrak? Or for the cat/damage form.
Thereās some dialogue that tells us Sethrak consider cobras as guardian spirits.
Maybe it could look similar to Merektha. She got the Sethrak lightning marks.
Sheād also make a neat hunter petā¦ Maybe tameable in the future like Fenryr from Halls of Valor.

Iām still into the krolusk bear form idea I had though. With lightning.
Or that sand cat and bear form I saw awhile back.

Iād personally love to switch my VE to a Sethrak, but I donāt think itās going to happen, I feel that blizzard have passed the opportunity to add them as an allied race after implementing just Vulpera.
I know a few people have been talking about a āfinalā slot for the allied races but if it were to be true I thought itād be revealed at blizzcon. :c I think Sethrak could be the perfect complimenting allied race as the only original races to not receive an allied race counter part are Worgen and Forsaken, and I think Sethrak share the same (if not similar) rigging to female worgen?

They have at least some rigging based off female Worgen. Seen it in action myself. When the Sethrak npcs die itās almost identical to female Worgen death emote. Also when the model glitches out and you run all stiff. Thatās the same.
I would keep up hope and stay positive! We got a lot of time and well. Weāve been told no new races between now and the start of Shadowlands. Or even in 9.0. So arguably thatās 8-12 months of no new races. And if there is a trend, which I think I found one. Theyāve been bumping up the time between AR releases by two months. KT and Z Trolls to Vulpera and Mechagnomes was 10 months. Before that, 8, before that 6. So maybe 12 months until next AR? Course I could be finding a trend out of nothing and we get new AR much sooner. But what Iām getting at is I would not expect any more races for another year at least. And Sethrak are completely plausible! It might just take some time to work out a storyline and update their models. Weāll just have to keep the love alive until we get some news.

Iām keeping up the hope that they might be a SLs release surprise. They were worked on and have a large following. I think thereās a good chance.

I donāt think we should look at the time between ARs but rather on the timing of major content patches which all ARs been added in so far and how theyāve released content in the past.
We know that there will be no ARs before or at the start of shadowlands, and that shadowlands will release before 31 of December.
The beta would usually last around 4-6 months based on the time of earlier betas, keep in mind that we havenāt had a āpublicā alpha yet for shadowlands which also would most likely last at least a pair of months, although that one seems very near.
The legendary cloak weāre currently upgrading also āmaxesā out at the week of September 8th.
I donāt see them releasing the shadowlands before people even have the chance to get the fully upgraded cloak and play with it, although I can see them having the pre-expansion event during that time.
So at earliest based on that, Iād imagine shadowlands would release around November.
However early November is the time of the year where Blizzcon takes place, and theyāve never released an expansion or major patch during Blizzcon as theyāre so busy with it. So at best the expansion would release the week after which would put us in mid-November at the earliest.
Now letās say Shadowlands release mid-November, how long would it take to get the first major patch in this case 9.1, and the first shot of having a new AR added?
In BFA it took them roughly 4 months for 8.1 to be released. While in legion it took them roughly 2 months to release 7.1. WOD took 3 months for 6.1 to hit after release.
So letās be optimistic and say Shadowlands release mid-November with a short 2-month wait for 9.1. That puts it roughly in mid-January for the earliest chance of a new AR, although if weāre unlucky it could be as far as April if shadowlands release in December and then we have a 4-month wait.
So you are actually pretty straight on the money that itās roughly a year for our next chance on an AR. Although it could be much longer as there is no guarantee that we will get an AR in 9.1, time will tell.

Speaking of the Sethrak idea where they were Faithless but left and didnāt feel right rejoining the Devoted, I was thinking that they could have traveled by boat out to the Eastern Kingdoms landing in sayā¦ The Wetlands and started to setup a new home for themselves leading to the dwarves of all things interacting with them and maybe leading them to work a bit with the Alliance?

Thatās an interesting idea. How do you think the Sethrak and Dwarves would get along? What could the Sethrak offer that the Dwarves would appreciate?
This also got me thinking that a Night Elf angle could be done as well. Perhaps Sethraliss could help heal/restore Nordrassil.

Wonāt happen because it would be a cool and fun race to play imo and Alliance donāt get those as you can tell by the allied races so far. Horde possibly could get them though.
