Why you make it so big, Blizzard?
Even at it’s smallest option, it’s way bigger than it was pre-patch!
Let us make it smaller again!

I think the key take away is they made the buttons taller than the old ones. Like if they just mushed em down a little bit they would be perfect.

My annoyance is the animated zzzzs when in a rested area.
I keep wanting to glare at it.

Yep, need a reduce size option, taking alot of space on the screen plus is kinda distracting with all those colors in my opinion.

Okay, so Shadowlands Micro Menu Buttons addon still works. But that MICRO menu is still huge.
Another head scratcher.
The last one wasn’t great, but it worked. Nothing so wrong about it to warrant a redesign.
So ok, a gratuitous redesign. Their game, if that’s what they want to spend their time on, whatever.
But to then make it a different size as well?
For funsies set it to 200% scale and try and figure out why that option exist.
Not only is it now too big, but the icons look cartoonish. The colors are terrible. Can we please have an option for the old design?! I don’t know of anyone who asked for this change.

Consider yourself lucky they didn’t want to do something like animate your combo points making your spec feel very unconnected because now you’re waiting for animations and delayed RNG to get your spenders.
Agreed 100% it is too big. I like that they added color though.
I had even suggested that they allow us to make it smaller in the PTR forums.
Ah well. Maybe in some later patch, we’ll be able to reduce the size of this and the talking head.

Does anyone have an addon that’s just for the micro menu to resize this? Because it’s driving me insane.
It no longer fits in between my action bars. I’ve had the same action-bar setup with it sandwiched between several for years on most of my characters. It’s not just too big, it’s the spacing between icons that is the problem. If they shrunk it so there was less padding or an option to change the padding it would fit. As it is I’ve been forced to scale the whole thing to a tiny size to make it fit in the previous space. I don’t need or want a huge action bar. I want a micro menu.
The new icons are fine though I think maybe a bit attention grabbing given the UI should be part of an unobtrusive viewport that helps immerse you in the game (the original designers thought this and designed the game that way because it was still an RPG to them, new designers, catering too much to raider, and information crowd).

I had to move mine to the side of my screen vertically and it’s driving me crazy now. I refuse to re-do my bars just to fit a massive MICRO menu.

I just wonder how many iterations of the UI it will take for them to finally give us the ability to resize and move every frame much like add-ons have been doing for over a decade.
That alone would solve a number of problems that individual players have been expressing since the game released.
