Well I think the trees are trash now is why people are forced into single specs, but I doubt that’s a mystery and another topic.
But I can see where faster leveling can make a difference, that’s why I spent $20 for heirloom gear + gold even though I don’t plan on ever leveling very far in game because I kicked the carrot on a stick gear addiction over 10 years ago.
I will never, ever spend a dime of RL cash on anything in WoW aside from my subscription. Cash shops have no business existing in a game that both requires a paid subscription and charges for expansions. It’s no less of a racket than paying for cable to watch channels with advertisements, at least in my situation. I refuse to support that nonsense.
As reluctant as I am to spend ridiculous amounts of in-game-earned gold on AH items that will become vendor trash in 10 levels or less (such a terrible investment for leveling), I’d rather do that than buy it with gold acquired via tokens.
I don’t know if many other players share that mindset, but I doubt I’m alone.
Yes we all know that to be the case…
I would be in favor of giving someone who wants to venture into xpoff games the right tools to get started with and have a better fighting chance.
The ppl who play xpoff seriously are still going to go that extra mile to minmax, but for the sake of que pops and activity, a change needs to happen other than being setup for failure in the current system.
Take a look at my other thread on some ideas to help with this…
Well my time is worth way more than $20 for the time it would take to mine such gold, so I don’t share your opinion even a little. Honestly, I’ve always felt that was some self righteous crap.
I might agree if game companies could keep their cash shop offerings from being the exception rather than the norm and the industry weren’t currently being eaten alive by microtransactions, but that’s a topic for another thread.
Nope, that’s awesome. Go rock some games. If you’re not leaning on anything you’re cool with me… getting beat by someone like yourself is much more satisfying than losing by default due to a difference in stats.
How about some program that detects xp off in the bg’s? The twinks would get a warning in the bg “Your experience will now be turned on in 60 seconds” Is an xp off detector hard to program?
Anyway, have something like this a few minutes into a bg, that would deter the exploit users I bet.
So far they are just being reported, that is going to be one high stack of reports to read if something isnt done soon.
lol a rhetorical question I hope, as I have nooooo idea. But thats not our problem to sort out anyway, its Blizzards. I am pro separation and tell my guildies to report when they ask what to do.
You dont know me, you dont know what we tell them to look for? Your sure made a leap there Mr. , give us some credit.
Its all fine and well, Im looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.
We will see.
“‘Will you walk into my parlor?’ said the Spider to the Fly .” Thats how your question feels.
Just understand that I have many law abiding twinks myself and know exactly what to look for.
The Legion template system was fine EXCEPT that blizzard did not tune their template for lower levels. The un-tuned lower bracket “templates” (if they can be called that) were skewed heavily in favor of certain specs like survival hunter, disc priest, and warrior/2-hand melee. So it wasn’t quite so much the gear that mattered but spec, at least for lower brackets.
