It shows lifetime but not recent. I had TL3, left the forums for a while, and lost my read count.
It’s disappointing that it doesn’t work off of long-term activity.

There are some sites that are white listed at lower Trust levels.
That makes sense.
If it’s based partly on consecutive days I may never get TL3 back because I’m traveling again and busier. It seems a little unfair given how much time I do hang out here overall.

If you’re not one of the “forum elite”, the rules are applied differently, it seems.
This happened to me twice. After the first one, I gave up on these forums and the “trust” system. It’s so much nonsense.
The requirements for TL:3 are kinda ridiculous, especially with it needing to be done in a 100 day time frame so if it’s a ‘rolling 100 days’ you CONSTANTLY have to browse hundred of replies and dozens of topics on a nearly daily basis, not just the topics you are actually interested in.
Don’t know if it’s been mentioned or if it still works, but you can go into one of the mega threads, click your mouse to activate page scroll and let it auto scroll through the replies for easy read requirement.
The hardest part to me is just staying consecutive. I sometimes take week/month breaks from reading the forums, so it’s easy to lose that streak.
Same here. Its pretty dumb the way this place runs but between Blizzard pay and the internet in general i cant blame the mods.
Sleeping in your car, working Uber on the side. CoD managers screaming at you do to X, Y, and Z while they’re drunk like some MadMen dystopia.
Id slap bans on people too. I just think after having a post history that Gamer News described as “The William Faulkner of the WoW forums” that id get some preferential treatment. I guess not.

I will take literally any kind of follow-up to Megamind. That movie deserved better.
And it’s pretty impossible to know when the 100 days start for their count. At one time, on my hunter, I finally got tl3 and lost it pretty quickly as I got it towards the end of the 100 day period, so I didn’t have time to read another 20k posts to keep it going. After that, I justs quit worrying about keeping up and just read posts at my leisure. The requirements are stupid. If they don’t trust us by now, then that’s fine.

you can also lose it, if you are unsubbed for a certain amount of time I guess. Took a month off back in January, and when I came back in late Feb, I had lost level 3 trust. Bad system imo.

What’s the path back?
Just meet the requirements for the 100 day period… but you just don’t know when it starts and when it stops/starts again. So basically you could have 19k posts read, end the 100 day cycle and start over at zero. Have fun.
