I like how its called “trust” yet half the time people with level 3 just post trashy gifs to troll other users anyway, at least in the threads i see.
Typing what the gif was about would earn the same user a holiday back in the old days. But these people are “trusted” so its obviously fine
Forum Suspensions simply reset the requirements when you get one.
So if you’re at like 19,000 Posts Read, you’ll get reset back to 0.
At least from what I’ve seen - I got TL3 back like 2 months after I got a suspension, which fits with the 50 days.
It’s automated. Lol. You’ve been here 885 days and only viewed 85k posts - I imagine the 20k posts is stopping you as well.
What I used to do to pad the 20k posts cause it’s ridiculous was find a thread with thousands of posts, then set my mouse to auto-scroll down it and go take a shower or something. Lol.
If you’re on alpha, you get TL3 by default. I assume because you need that permission to post pictures which is good for feedback and bug testing.
Meanwhile i got TL3 seemingly out of the blue a few years ago despite maintaining none of the requirements. I’m not mad as long as i can keep posting cute gifs.
Lost my trust for 6 months due to a flagged post. It’s all secretive, selective and RNG dependant.

I’ve been suspended a few times and still have trust level 3. Just don’t make a habit of being disruptive or inconsiderate and you’ll be fine (we all make mistakes and have stumbling moments).
Also, those temporary suspensions were not due to aggravated conflict with other players. It was always overly boisterous fury directed at Blizzard. I figure they allowed me to keep trust level 3 because my infractions weren’t against other players or community members.
I have trust 3 and no idea how. I get in trouble all the time, it seems (running my mouth), and I dont’ reply a ton. Not like I am a forum dweller. Don’t even know people’s names. /shrug

Honestly, you’re not missing much anyways. Outside of access to the “lounge” board there really isn’t any benefit to being trust level three anyways.
I’ve only been suspended 13 times honestly it’s a mystery why i don’t have level 3.

They still do. If you been suspended from the forums it eventually decays in like 3 months time of good behavior so you can earn it again
It’s honestly nothing grand at all, you can post links and post in a hidden forum where people talk about generic things GD has already discussed to death.
Like “share your pets!!” “Link your music you listen to while you play!”
“Omg GD is wild rn so glad I can be safe in here!”
Stuff like that :p. Might as well just join one of GD’s discords, can post links images, talk directly to people no hassle.

Yeah I’ve lost and gained Trust level 3 like 20 times since it’s started lol! I been taking like a 6 months to a year break from playing wow.
Blizzard wants to suck as much of you out of your life.
I’ve had it, lost it, got it back, lost it multiple times already. I think the system for it is pretty dumb.

Been down that road before. 
I heard that even if you have been suspended in the past, if you keep a clean record and don’t get into trouble for a certain amount of time you do get another chance at earning trust level 3.
But I have no idea honestly.
I had earned it and have since received many many suspensions. I always get it back around the time the suspension ends.
Someone said it was related to a beta key but I’ve never had a beta invite that I know of.
