Looks like they are still adding a way for themselves to profit by adding 30 more slots for players to purchase. Sneaky.
But as far as as the overall changes are concerned, yeah, that is way better than things are now. There’s still work to be done but we’re getting there. Hopefully they will continue to make adjustments.
It is for me. My big complaint was the cost changes, with this i’ve got nothing but good things to say about the outfit system.
Anyone upset now just wants it to be free i think.

A 60% reduction to transmog costs mean it should be 2.5-3k to save a set to a slot, in theory, which is reducing it by slightly over half of what it is now. So yeah, that is nice.

I’ve paid for transmog on every little change since the system was first introduced. It costing money to change does not bother me.
We can either have slot transmog or item transmog. Item transmog is more expensive over time for those that keep the same outfit (within one set). I prefer this one.
People who want to change all the time the outfit within the same set will pay roughly 75% more to transmog (all slots) at level 80.
I think it is a fair trade.

i was also talking about expanding the slots. they lowered the cost but taking the slots from 20 to 50, how does that figure match up to the 800k figure for a full unlock or whatever?
They haven’t added those extra slots yet,hence the quote “We’re planning to increase the total number of outfit slots available, from 20 to 50”. We don’t know the prices yet. My guess is they found themselves a loophole to make their 800k figure happen but until we get the actual numbers that is purely speculation.

The cost coming down is good. It could/should be reduced even more, but whatever. I don’t really care about them adding more slots, but I guess it’s okay for those who need them.
We’ll see how things shake out when everything goes live.

My transmogs at 70 is approx 600g still so thats still x4 for me

I dont intend to use this new trash system..I DONT NEED my mogs changing from room to flippin room…
I want the prices Ive BEEN paying so I can swap into NEW sets, not the same 5 sets you extort me to save.
5 gold PER character level is the MOST it should cost for an ENTIRE set swap…and its AMAZING that blizCo thinks its actually acceptable to CHARGE me to USE something I ALREADY did the damned work for.
why not charge us to USE our MOUNTS while theyre at it…since this garbage is SUPPOSEDLY about being a ‘gold sink’.
No one cares about this except a minority so you jump RIGHT ON THAT…and IGNORE the SCREAMING all over the web about NOT charging… extorting us when we want to change sets and slots with NEW stuff 50 times a day like weve BEEN ABLE to do until this trash goes live
