I can confirm that I haven’t received any type of “heal up”. I’m missing somewhere in the 3k-4k range after my transfer.

Hey all,

The process has begun and we’ll continue to monitor for edge case situations that need more work. I can say that this won’t be surgical - so you probably won’t get the exact amounts your calculating. To make sure we can help everyone that was affected, the solution needed to be a little more broad.

Delivery won’t be through the mail though. When granted, it’ll be applied straight to your currency. You may also want to double check your talent tree before running into a Horrific Vision as this may reset your tree so that you can apply the mementos back as intended.

If I get any more details I can share, I’ll be back with them. I just wanted to provide this quick update as we are starting to see some folks acknowledge that they received theirs and I didn’t want folks thinking that this was fully complete.

How long should we wait before we open a ticket regarding the issue in the scenario that we don’t get restored properly?

I’d recommend waiting until they say here that all accounts have been restored (or wording to that effect) as it’s not likely something a GM is going to be able to help with anyway.

Correct, at this time a Game Master would not be able to offer assistance. If that changes, and if a ticket is needed for any reason then we’ll make sure it’s communicated here first. Right now, you don’t need to submit anything :slight_smile:

To me this is pretty wild. After two weeks of significant inconvenience and worry I sure hope you guys are rounding up and not down.

Just wanted to say thank you. Logged into my Paladin and it looks like I was refunded the missing mementos (it showed up in chat as I logged in “you received x mementos”).

Patiently waiting to get all of mine back. Losing all of that progress sucked haha

And thank you for doing so! We know how frustrating this has been. We’re right there with you all doing dailies and running visions to get our cloaks leveled. So we feel the pain!

Last update I had was that these cases are still being handled. I don’t have an ETA on when the whole process will be finished but we’ll try to continue keeping this thread updated as we get more info.

Same. Impatiently waiting. I really wanted to get my cloak to level 9 before raid tonight so I could use another corruption piece without breaking 40 but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.

What if I already put 2 of the 4 points into my tree that were missing just so I could advance into the far side talent?

Earlier up in the thread they indicated it wasn’t a problem, and instructed us to spend our momentos.

I’m still waiting for the momentos to be refunded. Do you have an ETA on when this should be completed?

They don’t do ETAs, but rest assured that they are working as fast as they can. There’s no benefit for them to dawdle.

Players have an uncanny tendency to forget what the E stands for and start bearing torches and pitchforks when it passes with no resolution.

We don’t, I’m sorry! Right now, it looks like we’re going to have to make multiple pushes to get to everyone that was affected. The first round got wrapped up yesterday and the next is being worked on. Sorry for the additional delay!

This isn’t helpful or true. There most certainly are estimates. They may choose not to share them publicly. This may be fixed in a code deployment or a data migration or a combination of the two, but any developer pushing out code to production to fix a regression has an estimated affect on the running system and an estimated execution time of the process.

It seems to me that Blizzard stated they don’t give ETAs.
