so is it safe to re learn the ones we lost, before the fix goes out? or should i wait till it goes out
I seem to remember a prior post on here saying it was fine to relearn the ones lost.
Itās been an ongoing problem for two weeks, and it looks like much longer, the last real response we got was 3 days ago. Even if its just to check in and let us know a timeframe on when we can expect a fix, and what form thatāll take (as in they roll back our talents and give us the appropriate currency, or they just mail us what we lost). In my case it seems like my talent system is fubarād as I canāt even put more points in the chest talent (or reach the elite sanitation one, even though I have enough points spent to reach it),

It is fine to learn them. Youāll be compensated for the the lost mementos. Theyāre just trying to figure out how to distribute themā¦?
But since about a thousand+ mementos are basically wasted for those effected, it was best to wait as long as you can by capping out the visions and bottles.
Is that really the case???

For me it is, yes. It might not be the case for everyone though.

There are two things. One, there is nothing more to share at the moment. Two, it is the weekend and the ones who work on these issues work Monday to Friday. They are unlikely to have an update on it on the weekend.
As you are not privy to what the cause of the problem is and what it took to find and fix it, you are not in the position to declare that 2 weeks is enough time.
Please provide an ETA on this at the very least. Iām already fully capped on vessels and close to 25k currency. Iāve lost 5 points (including cheat death and elite kill) and need to know if I should just try visions without them and give up hope on a fix in time.

Blizzard does not do that, because players forget what the E in ETA means. They get whiney when Blizzard doesnāt meet the estimated time.

My advice is to try your visions without them and repurchase the missing traits. Theyāve made it clear that whatever compensation is coming is going to take repurchased traits into consideration, and in my opinion, itād be worse to cap on Coalescing Visions and Vessels.

Iām going to go ahead and lock this. Arguing here is unnecessary and doesnāt really help anyone in this situation.

Greetings all - I was out those last 2 days from the prior week, apologies for not having an update. Iām checking rounds with the teams again today. The plan is to update everyone as soon as I have news, per usual.
Going to unlock this one for now. I definitely can understand the frustration, but try to be kind to each other. Tensions are high as some folks are entering their 3rd potential week of being in a bad state, which is totally understandable. Itās been a delicate fix, and I sincerely appreciate everyone for hanging in there while our engineers have been figuring out a fix.
Edit: Weāve got some testing going on in QA on how heal-up will work, and making sure the fix is solid.

Edit: They seem to have refunded the momentos, I just filled in my tree and can continue to do horrific visions. Thank you for the fix.

Eh? I didnāt received any mementos. They havenāt fixed it entirely yet.
Ya I have not gotten any refunds either.
So i received a 1500 memento refund upon loginā¦ the issue is I had two server xfers during this time and to total i have spent on my current upgrades plus the 1500 do not add up to the total within my achievement. Any idea if the devs are looking at this situation as well? Thanks.
Do the mathā¦ look at your achievement and calculate the tree to ensure they did it correctly. Iāve not noticed a refund yet. How did you get it? Mail?
For instance, Iāve finally been able to purchase 3/3 Clear Sight again, which is eight upgrades. Thatās roughly 5,650 momentos (from wowhead PTR guide; comments suggested that some upgrades have been nerfed from PTR by 50 momentos, which is in the noise).
My Momento Mori achievement says Iāve collected 9,278 and I have 178, meaning Iām missing roughly 9,278 - 178 - 5,650 = 3,450 momentos.
