Timewalking Quest BUGGED sine Tuesday cannot complete

An Orginal Path Through Time Quest - Support / Bug Report - World of Warcraft Forums

Asking for support on this since it appears im unable to produce a ticket for this topic and yes the above is a bug report which is being ignored and still not fixed. Can someone poke the devs for us ? it’s preventing us who need actual items from the reward of this quest.

Sorry to say but, if there’s a bug report, they’d be already know of it. The Devs would look into it when they can. The Blues here ain’t part of the dev team and can’t treat a bug upon request as there’s a level of severity that get treated before others.

There’s no way you can know this for sure since you’re not a blizzard employee but I was just hoping someone on the CS team can poke the devs to look at this since it’s kind of one of these things that has worked for a long long time and now it’s not.

I know for sure as I watch the Blizzard workers, AKA “Blues”, post.

No one here can forward this to the devs, This sounds like a bug report and need to file a bug report. Either way I doubt something like this gets fixed inside of a week.

With so many posting about this I am sure they are look into this, but might not be fixed before the end of the week. Until they do you might not be able to complete it if it keeps disappearing.

I refuse to believe that a group of employees who work for the same company cannot “forward” information internally. I think this is just a way of saying, we don’t care about your issue as it’s not a big deal to us.

It started working for me over the weekend, even for characters that were having issues earlier.

Simply put; what you believe isn’t a factor here. If there’s a bug, the blues here would point you at the bug reports forum. This isn’t a contact point for the devs, nor is it a means to get an issue looked at above others. If this forum worked that way, everyone and their dogs would be posting here to get their issued forward to the devs, which make the bug report forum pointless.

Had it been either of those, the Blues here would tell them to see if anything change after reset. They’re not a personal line to the devs, nor anything getting something fix within an hour.

Because a ticket goes to the GMs, who are not Devs. GMs are unable to fix this issue. The ticket system works to point folks in the proper direction if it isn’t something a GM can assist with. So if it isn’t allowing a ticket, that usually means it is outside of what a GM can do.

Bug reports are a one-way reporting thing. You don’t get responses or Blue posts over there, unless it’s a rare case of them requiring more information. If it’s in the Bug Reports forum, as this issue is, then the Devs are aware of it. You’re not being ignored. You have no idea what it may be that is causing the issue or what it takes to resolve it wholly.

Zenjy provided you Blue posts, but just to elaborate further - this forum is one for players to assist other players. Think infodesk. There are people who have been active on this forum for many, many years and have seen a wide breadth of issues and responses to those issues by our SFAs - the only Blues you will see posting on this forum.

We do know, or if we don’t, we say as much. Any untruths are swiftly struck down by fellow players and the staff alike.

There are plenty. There are procedures though, and processes that all staff must follow. What they do and what they don’t do has no bearing on people being nice.

And also? There was already a thread here on CS about this last night. The author of that was also obstinate and ignored what correct information was being provided. That thread was nuked into oblivion by the mods/SFAs.

Devs are aware. There is currently no workaround or solution in place. I’m sorry it’s not what you are looking for, but the answer is nothing can be done right now.
