I’ve been running M+ all day, and just now I get a debuff in a Seth +9 saying Time Trial Practice is active. What is this?
Just ran a FH +12 and had the debuff. New nothing about it until we finished and the key didn’t upgrade and we noticed we didn’t get credit for the M+.
Just ran +11 Atal Dazar, almost 2 chest and didn’t receive any credit. Could not seem to get “time trial practice” not in effect. This seem like a major bug ???
I just completed a +12 freehold. had the time trial debuff. we ended up timing the keystone (+1) and then we still have +12 freehold
yea what is this @blizzard. your system already burns my key every week from people leaving and no penalty. now i finally get a good group, we complete in time and i have this debuff for time-trail practice. much appreciated
Same here with a +10 FH and we +1’d it. Submitted a ticket and hope we get a response.
Same here as well with an 11 Underrot, submitted a ticket as well hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Yeah, something is not right here.
I thought the time trial stuff was only supposed to be on the Tournament realm?
Just +1’d a FH 10. Stayed as FH 10 and we didn’t get weekly credit.
Same issue, +9 Atal’Dazar, finished with 2ish extra minutes, received loot, no completion credit and the key did not upgrade.
Same,
+9 Atal’Dazar
Someone needs to post a link in the bug report forum.
There is a link already under a post by Silverblade.
There is also a thread the CS forum, a Blue there said they will pass along any info they find there.
Here’s the CS thread to follow for more info when they have it:
Also happened to my group last night in an 11 shrine. We got gear at the end of the run so I’m wondering if that will disappear? Our key stayed 11 shine and we had the time trial debuff. I’d at least take the hit of getting credit for completion of a 10 since we’re on a mission to do all 10’s+ on time this week and that hinders us greatly to not get credit.
So,in relation to this, here’s a thought from one dev working on a system with literally billions of rows of data to a team of devs: scan all the new entries for this weeks’ mythic+, and run an update for the “best keys” based on what the people got stuck with and cleared… No need to do this manually: if someone ran a+10, assign a +10 to the cache, same for any other key.
I don’t understand why Blizzard can’t fix this for people who were negatively impacted by this bug. I presume that they have a log of everyone who ran a Mythic + and was impacted by the bug, i.e. was not flagged as having completed an M+. Why can’t they just flip the flag for folks such that the game acknowledges that they completed it? Is it that it is impossible to do so, or simply too complicated or too time consuming?
In the grand scheme of things it is a small annoyance. I can hopefully find an opportunity this week to re-run the Freehold 9 that was bugged for me. However, it would be nice if Blizzard communicated a little more clearly on this stuff rather than shutting the Customer Support thread on this after some pretty cursory answers and then shunting everyone over here into the boonies of the forums.
Savery-illidan I ran a 16 wcm and had the “Timed-practice Run” bug and it didn’t count. Now i get the whole compensation deal but honestly we spend money and time here (alot of time if i say so) and most of us respond to forums and want this game to be better than it has been. But lets be honest i know blizzard has been going through lay offs and don’t have the man power it once had but if this “bug” can’t be resolved because of not knowing how to compensate us is silly right? every dungeon we do is logged and can be seen but to individually go through each person that was affected by this because it’s a “time sink” is not a good excuse. the way i think about it is i only did a 16+ what if someone did a 20+ or world 1st? to the competitive players that would be devastating . so compensation wise i think just opening a post to have the people affected by this submit tickets during a time frame of 1 week and have the customer support / who ever can fix this go through these “tickets” and re enter the correct data for the keys done.
So is Blizzard developing a system to practice keys and it accidently went live in weird ways?
Not exactly.
They have time trial runs on the Tournament servers as part of the MDI.
Somehow, the time trial got activated on the regular realms for many running keys last night.
